I've recently started using LGPT on the PSP and I've looked around but I have a few questions about LGPT that I can't find on the net.

Thirdly, is there no 'keyjazz' type setting?  I find it minorly awkward that I can't hear a sound as I lay it down.

You mean like LSDJ prelisten?  Nope, none of that.  I'd love to see that happen, too.  There's an open ticket for it, but I'm guessing it's pretty low on the priority list.

Fourthly, When highlighting a group of notes, is there no way of increasing or decreasing values as you can do in LSDJ?  If not, is there any other way of adjusting the note values all at once?  For example, if I want to bump a bunch of notes up by a semi-tone or by an octave, do I have to do it one by one?

That's a feature I actually requested and was implemented a few builds back.  Check again on your new version and you'll be able to do it in both columns of the chain screen and the note and instrument columns in the phrase screen.  Unfortunately, Marc didn't see the need of using that in the effect column, so no mass edit there.

Fifthly, by default the piggy seems to use slim cloning, is there any deep clone setting I can add the the config.xml?

Again, there's an open ticket, but it's not something I'd imagine getting added any time in the near future.  Development has slowed to a stop and there's no telling when it'll be picked up again.

Keep the questions coming!  big_smile

I hope Herman's bartending that night.  I love that dude.

One track in and I'm feeling much heart

I just searched my IRC logs... it wasn't a command, it was a custom build with midi clock disabled and it's was on 10pm.org, so it's gone now.  I'm pretty sure xc3n has it, so I'll try to get him to upload it to the /build directory on hexawe and I'll post the link here when it's live.

This is my fave:

Front men's bathroom Blip 09.  Missed the 1st song of Bit Shifter's set because snapping a pic of this urinal's pube beard seemed way more important at the time....

AFAIK its possible to add ram to the A320 to make it identical to the A330...

Well, the a330 also has wireless for an external controller and will accept up to 32MB SDHC (a320 only does up to 8GB, supposedly).  But yeah... a330 is kinda meh I think.

maybe use a heat gun instead of solder??

Seriously considering it.  Maybe even hot glue.  Maybe both.

We are kings of tl;dr up in this thread!!!

Adding to/correcting a few things lazerbeat mentioned:

-I'm pretty sure the gp2x f200 (white one) doesn't have the annoying recessed headphone jack (EDIT: it DOES have the annoying recessed jack)
-it also doesn't have the thumbstick; they gave it a regular dpad
-I am not a robot, just a little man with smallish, skinny fingers tongue
-the f200 also can't run an official firmware lower than 4.0 so unless you want to install open2x custom firmware, you're looking at at least a 20 sec. boot time
-the dingoo a320 take MINI SD. lazerbeat described it right, just misspoke.  best bet is to get a microSD that comes with a miniSD adapter.

-I tried replacing my a320 screen yesterday but totally chickened out after opening it and seeing that the 40 or so contacts for the ribbon cable actually have to be soldered directly to the circuit board.  I'll try it when I have time, but it's going to be tedious, nerve-wracking and I might totally ruin my dingoo.

Got tied up with real work here at work....

fuck, i forgot "BAND"
