New chiprock single.
Donkey Song

Nice. Also nice to have another chiprocker in my (somewhat) local vicinity.

I will replace the 7805.

Okay, so testing the 7805 shows about 20 going in and nothing coming out. Does that mean the resistor is bad or that something is happening before it reaches the resistor?

I'll test it when I get home from work.

It is one of the earliest models with the SVHC sound module

Perhaps some of the more technically minded of you can help me out. I'm trying to resolve a power issue with my SNES. I've cleaned the corrosion off of the DC input jack, I've tested the power supply, I've replaced the 1.5A pico fuse, and the multimeter shows that power is at least getting through the fuse when the power switch is turned On. Yet, the front light still won't light and the system won't turn on. What more can I do?

The cable for connecting my gameboy to my Arduinoboy just died on me (I suspect it was made from a pretty cheap third party cable). I need a new one, the sooner the better. Anyone have any spares or would be able to make one for me?

This is the Arduinoboy I'm using, so it needs to be a gameboy to 5pin midi.

Look out for my brother. He's the 6'5" redhead prowling the streets of Tokyo.

Thanks for the info. I'll probably put it off for now, though. That's a little more involved than I have time for right now. I mean, it works well enough right now, so no urgent need to upgrade.

I think I might be out of luck. You can see the PCB here and this is a photo of what I could get without taking off the top.

It is one of the newer models and I don't see any FTDI port. The only places to plug anything in are the Midi In, Out, Link, and 9v.

Yeah... it is a Xiwi and there is no USB port on it.

On a related note, how would I update my existing arduinoboy to the most recent code release? I have a midi-usb cable.

Cool stuff, dude.
