and a microphone smile

all we need is an app that would allow you to do sampling via microphone jack or perhaps a modified "line input" or via usb to audio interface. which would allow you to sample and save as .wav or .aiff and then switch over to lgpt and load your recently made samples

... any opinions on the player 2  controller idea?

More importantly... it has USB! you know what that means. :-D

interesting device.

Wish i could make this one!!

Who's the artist.. it's hard to tell the correct name spelling.

not sure why i have ignored this tread... but i just read the last 19 pages... holy shit. awesome.

So nice to see such an amazing project come together so quickly and the community involvement is amazing.

Now my question for this awesome program...
maybe it's been asked before..

Would it make sense to use the Player 2 port to add more control features or make less "menu diving" having 2 controllers plugged in instead of just using one?
Not sure if this is an option, but i just wanted to ask and toss the idea out there. It would be cool to have 2 controllers plugged in for
more at your finger tip control for live purposes. smile

The fact tjhat lo-bat wasnt mentioned till page four illustrates one of the many issues with the chipscene.

Also i'd throw Dino Lionetti in the mix,

haven't heard anything new from lo-bat recently... point me in the right direction so i can listen.

L-Tron is another artist who rocks the gb synthesis with a fine tooth comb.

That's two VCOs, two filters and something like a delay module.
To be honest I think you're better off with one of Doepfer's premade combos, like the Mini-system:

http://www.doepfer.de/a100s_e.htm

The reason why is that you'll get the basic utility modules that would make up a complete voice with a rack and power supply included.  And it's MIDI compatible.

And when you get the swing of things you can start expanding and buy my modules that will hopefully be out this year. smile

i'd be happy with 7th street entry
