I'm designing a delay based around that chip.. should be cool.
I'm also building up a few stereo delay boxes based off the Rebote 2.5 delay circuit..
wont it into a nuby though. hahaha

i was just gunna ask if that was a pt2399 circuit. hahahaha.. you're crazy man.. lol.. i'd never have the patience to rock a point to point on that. Very cool mod though! you should install a momentary pushbutton that bypass's the 15K repeat resistor for an infinite Slam switch! :-D

I'd love a Prophet, but damn import costs make me pay some bullcrap amount ._.
you gotta find a local dealer that carries them.
or try to talk a local gear store to become a dealer.
Should help cut some costs down. meh.. i'd just save up . honestly.. .they'er totally worth it.
i hope to have a prophet 08 in my DSI collection within the next 3-5 months.

i emailed him asking if i could buy in bulk. i should have bought up all the nuby brand ones from allelectronics when they had them.
anyways..
cross fader would be cool but an actual fader will be expensive.. just use a stereo pot. Also.. keep in mind you'll lose 6 dB of output level if you do a cross fader/pot.

I've been wanting to buy a bulk quantity of these to build a magical circuit inside for DMG add-on's.
You got a source on these flopps?

I own a mopho.. totally kicks as.. For real.. Dave Smith Instruments.. only way to go..
You look at things like the moog "lil phatty" and it's like.. wtf.. you can't tweak res and freq on the filter at the same time.. LAME
I lost my faith in Moog after Bob died.
Mopho, Tetra, Prophet 08 are the way to go. they sound AMAZING
i've heard every one, between my friends and i we own their entire catalog. :-D
There is a new keyboard version of the Mopho coming out very soon... I will own it! :-D

I definitely recommend DSI.
They have the best Digitally Controlled analog synths on the market.

I think this would be a good idea, making it open submission, but cutting tracks that aren't that good. It would make the final product better. I'm sick of all the open compilations, blahh...
it will have to be released for free.. and able to handle lots of downloads. and be advised. Richard James has a huge Ego.. if he doesn't like it... (which he probably wont...) he could make a fuss about it.. So who knows...
