bamp for day after tomorrow-ness

wtf is this?

Ahoy

OK SO... the third installment of our almost-monthly Austin event is taking place THIS SATURDAY at Baby Blue studios in Austin, TX.

This is sort of late notice so I will understand if you can't book plane tickets and/or a babysitter to make it out, but ANY AND ALL SUPPORT IS APPRECIATED.

Here is the deal: this month we got sponsorship from a few folks which allowed us to rent out what looks to be a good venue (or what we can tell from the youtube videos), and we are showcasing 6 acts from all across the america. I know that sounds like a lot, but it's OK.

The line-up looks

like this:

Animal Style
Wet mango
Shams
Narwhalz of Sound
Yatagarasu
Oven Rake

It must be said that the list is in no sort of organizational or hierarchical order. I will be playing music mostly from the 1905 A.D. - 1906 A.D. between sets.

Here is an informational splurg for the most curious of cats:

Hope some of you can make it out JEEZ.

This is a really awesome follow-up to Left.

Refreshing stuff... It's all Milkytracker, no?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Crass yet. One of the best bands ever, I think.

Also, chumbawamba used to release some pretty good stuff (on Crass records at that!)

arottenbit:

Yeah... Zu are great! I have been listening to their stuff for a while. They even did a collaborative album with Nobukazu Takemura back in the day... it was pretty good as I remember. I  now remember Ekkaia, too!

Seeing as a lot of the digigrind/etc. front isn't covered yet, here is some stuff

XRIN ARMS... great performer, too.

Phantomsmasher / Atomsmasher... james plotkin of O.L.D., Khanate etc, dave witte, and speedranch. Some of my favorite music ever.

Another favorite:

Eustachean!:

One of the coolest kids on the block, Yatagarasu:

Realicide:

Gnartacular vid brah.

edit: the video is cock cheese
