Nice. Good stuffs.

Hide your NES, hide your SIDs, and hide your Gameboys... Nobody has mentioned youtube 8bit culture in this thread yet :o

just throwing this out there.. It'd be fun to here non-vg chipstuffs in video games. Like how some video games have just rock/metal/whatever music in the soundtrack that just sounds like regular music. Chipmusic in a video game that just sounds like regular chipmusic instead of retro-throwback vgm style.

Ooh just saw the avi recording thing. Sweet.

Sweet! I didn't know there was tempo bug.

Lol @ the "free chiptunes" search

and wow... i got into it just around the time it spiked back up. Edit: Oh hey that's when the bedroom livestream concerts were a thing big_smile XD good times.

cm.o's homepage has the music at the top of the page. How much more put first do you want?

Hmmm... But yeah, chip=win has a lot of activity. On their facebook group and the IRC channel on Esper. Things seem to be moving more towards social media platforms that aren't solely dedicated to chiptunes.

LOOOL the vocabulary for the "items" in this is sooo cute heart "SYNTH the BEAT with SOUND FUSE" XD
"Bit" as currency big_smile I love it. Looking forward to more of this, lol.

Cool BEATS, yo. Also good job with controlling the volume of your pulses to make the wavekits stand out.
As for tips... I personally enjoy it when a melody and bassline changes along with drum rhythms. And these days I have grown to love music that doesn't repeat the same thing too many times without variation. Also a big fan of melody taking an important role in a piece. Taking those things into consideration, LNA is the tune that stands out to me the most smile

But i mean this is all just my own personal preference speaking. I don't have anything objective to say. It's really fun stuff you've got going.
Edit: OH, I do have something... maybe experiment with mixing up your usage of the pulse channel you use to double up the bass and try throwing some melodies or harmonize with your other pulse channel sometimes. Sound design aesthetic doesn't have to stay constant throughout the entire song. Maybe second lap around the track surprise us smile

Edit: I really like the energy of the last track big_smile

The hymn writing tool seems useful.
