Just don't upload every single track on your album to the music section. Just upload a few that you don't mind giving away or whatever if it is in favor of promoting your release. You can still create a release thread and shamelessly promote your "for-pay" stuff here that way.

I don't think there is an option to disable downloads from the music section of this site. You can remove submissions from the music section though (booooo)

Why don't you just change the topic title already if you know it's bad?

Edit: Also, in the guitar pedal world "clone" usually mean "exact copy" so that is not a word to bandy around lightly. Many guitarists look down on "true clone" pedal-making companies because it is considered unethical. Most of the "clones" ("bad monkey is a tubescreamer clone", etc) that AREN'T regarded as shady aren't really "true clones" but are more "copy-cats", since a true clone will actually have reverse-engineered parts to try to match exactly the parts of the pedal they are cloning, and "copies" are simply designed to sound/behave the same way as the pedal they are copying.

I say all this to say: the word "clone" is not as clearly defined as you seem to assume.

Edit: OH GOODY you changed it :3

I liked the sounds in this, and the funny way you incorporated the melody. Loopy.

You can get some microtones quite easily with the Houston Tracker for TI-82.

Oh yeah! I forgot about that. I need to get a cable for my TI-83+ pronto

What kind of methods do you use to create microtonal (non 12tet) scales and music in the various chiptune formats of your choice, be it LSDJ, nsf, .it, ahx, sid, adlib, etc?

This is an interesting thing to talk about in regards to chipmusic I think. Only thing I know of is that .it microtonal thingy.

Hey let's make things more interesting.

What is your favorite rubato tempo modulation? What is your favorite swing/groove. How far off from the "2" and the "4" do you like to put your snare to get that off-beat feel?

You guys stop dancing around the mulberry bush: The tempos of these formats that you think "fluctuate" merely have fractions/decimal places involved which means they won't match up to a whole number BPM like 150.00 but more like 150.350931409420498480934093248093248304823490834

okay.
