Since we're on the topic of FM Synth, fwiw I'd like to see some Sonix/Musicline Amiga emulation too!

"MED can load raw samples and IFF 8SVX 1, 3 and 5-octave samples.
It means that you can load practically any sample to MED and
use it in your songs. Note that raw samples and 1-octave 8SVX
samples can use only octaves 1 - 3. Octaves 4 and 5 play from
octave 3."
I'm a long time med user and never bothered with 8SVX...not really sure why. How does 8SVX differ from the octave 8 wraparound method? Does Chipsounds support the octave 8 wraparound playback?

If this is anything like a 286, look for Module Editor v2.00 (by Norman Lin) and Blaster Master (sampler software). According to this release (which Radiograffiti will have in stock for the new site launch) it can sound just like an Amiga.

That is if I'm understanding any of this correctly, which I may not be considering I just woke up.

NICE VIDEO!
I'm glad to see someone else crazy enough to use the dual Amiga setup. I salute your general craziness.
There's one thing I should mention - it seems to be something of a recent discovery regarding the 1200/600 and MIDI sync, possibly just tempo sync in general.
The A1200 is (confirmed via various sync tests/configurations) to be off tempo by a fairly noticeable margin when compared to a 600. No matter what I or CCDM have tried, the 1200 *will* eventually lose sync, sometimes within seconds - and it only gets more problematic when doing software mixing via OSS/8ch mode/etc. What are your thoughts on this?
Also, check your PMs!

Ha. Yeah, I know what you mean when navigating from the project screen.
I meant when you are actually looking at the list of songs/load screen. The only way to leave (that I know of) is through "Exit" which leaves the program. It would seem a little more intuitive to move you back to the pattern or project screen, considering there's an exit option there.

I'm usually a very patient person, but I've had problems with lgpt for the psp for the better half of a year now. I'm just no longer interested in another time-eater, I've got plenty of those already. I understand it being "ghetto" but unusable load/save operations is inexcusable, even for a low-standard download. The broken wiki links and yahoo group two-fold registration process turned me off too.
Revisiting with zero success was the final straw. No disrespect intended to anyone - see y'all on the gp2x flipside.

Yeah, I formatted the card and it's still not loading/saving with the ghetto build. The psp is getting the fuck out of my life.
fwiw, the wiki links need to be updated. The ghetto section takes me to http://www.10pm.org/

Actually, fuck it. I'm selling the psp right now. I've wasted enough of my time with this shit.

Re: Piggy Tracker Thread (798 replies, posted in LittleGPTracker)
Generally I've just been able to create a new song via the opening file/song selection screen within lgpt without any issues. It sounds like I cannot do that with the PSP ghetto without having to have a netbook around to create the sample folder. As far as exit goes, I usually exit in the project/tempo menu. The exit in the file menu makes it seem like it will take you back to the pattern editor, not quit the program and lose everything. Argh.

Re: Piggy Tracker Thread (798 replies, posted in LittleGPTracker)
Huh. This makes sense! Thanks for the tip!
Although, this new psp ghetto is looking pretty worthless. It does not save new songs, it exits lgpt when using "exit" in the file menu and the portability is nil, considering I have to create a sample folder beforehand.
edit - posting in the lgpt forum
