Oh wait, it's on the other side of the planet so the show is probably over.

DUUUUUUR.

The stream doesn't seem to be connecting, but it might be the coffeeshop. Going home to listen.

We need more c64s that run on 4aa fit in your pocket and have easy midi interfacing for the best programs it runs.

Just as long as I can bivert.

Almost every c64 music program ever - http://utenti.multimania.it/ice00/HVMEC/CONTROL/ and http://www.morganleahrecords.com/moogle … odore.html

Plenty of people use the c64 live, whether or not it's a MIDIbox or original breadbox. 8bit weapon and ultrasyd come to mind.

I do agree though, too much emphasis on the DMG, but I remember bitching about this in 2002. I've grown to accept that it will never change. wink

Are you only looking for chip-related acid or will anything suffice?

Please check out Drop Bass Network for all your *good* acid needs.

c64 is gone. SNES powerpak and PSP-1000 are next in line.

@electricloverecords: I'm still not convinced you're NOT a troll.

Good. Now do something amazing with it and blow us all away.

Toss a .nsf in famitracker. I believe there was a plugin or something that did exactly what you are asking.

@bleo: both are 6581 R3 - The filters have really nice response.

@timbob/awol: godinpants is correct, although there are a few different versions of the same screen in different housing - some are easier to mod than others. It's a matter of trial and error.

P.S.  Speaking of live music - anyone want to help me set a night up?  I don't really know where to start but I want to contribute to the local scene as much as I can.

do you think milwaukee could support one as far as turnouts? doesnt look like chicago could

I don't want to hijack, but yes Milwaukee can (and has). It's a matter of proper venue, adequate press and motivated locals. I've seen shows with a turnout of 2 people and shows with a turnout of 600 people. Personally, I've been working on an official event for a while now. These things take time here.

Added PSP and adjusted prices!

The other day I visited micromusic for my first time in years and sort of teared up a little. I was brought back to a time when "Fuck You Management Wanker" and "Rock in 8bit" were the only two songs I played on repeat.

Not sure what that has to do with anything. I'm old.
