That really does sound like fun. XD
This reminds me of the times people on the OCRemix forums would hold a regular competition called "BEER"-- Bleeding Ears Extreme Remix. The intention was to make the most entertaining, intentionally-terrible song possible. I think it'd be kinda interesting to see someone try this with chipmusic. Furthermore, I'd love to see what Derris-Kharlan could come up with on that premise.
This was the best-worst thing to wake up to. You have made my day.
edit: Oh yeah, attempt to remain on-topic #1: DAWs are fun and can provide more than what a tracker can, but half of the fun of the music originated with the limitations each system had. On the other hand, there's also a significant difference between someone experienced from using a DAW and someone using it to post "XxMY FIRST CHIPSTEPxX."
tl;dr: imo, I'd follow the mantra of "Know your roots, experiment with them later."
Dear newcomer with an interest in making das bleepsen-bloopsen:
You should really learn to search for topics before posting. It'll save you time, effort, self-esteem and make you look more informed.
Edit: Nope, you're not getting a link if you can't find it on your own.
This entire thread is made of what the fuck and no stop it. That, or successfull troll, etc.
That definitely marks one of my favorite shows so far this year. I need to get out to New York more often... that was a blast!
Good seeing you at the show last night, man. My friends and I did a mostly-silly valentine's day LP, here's my contribution.
Always Be My Baybleep
I really need to make it out to this show sometime; I've heard nothing but good things.
Crap, July 30th? I'll have to take the date off asap.
The last one was pretty fun; I got to see a bunch of my friends from MAGFest and play on a 3DO with a handful of the artists and bands. Pretty good times overall, but plan out your food/booze.
... Funny. I didn't know one of the guys from Crystal Castles went solo.
Nothing beats global mod day. Ever.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
I'm ready to not remember this weekend, even though it's starting early for me since I'll be at this Industry meet-up going on tonight.
From the little I've heard of it, the show sounded like it was amazing... Sadly I had a shift that morning in the console room. FFFF-
Regardless, thanks for the video!
