Haha yeah, I can get kind of OCD about categorizing things in some ways, and tumblr is one of them. To clarify for those unaware:
"enso" is where I post all my own work and things related to my pixel art or visuals.
"pixelstyle" is a sort of curated collection of pixel art I enjoy from games, demos, etc.
"Grafik" is my "normal" tumblr, where I just post images and things I really like.

This all results in me spending wayyyy too much time on tumblr, haha

The palette was awful but yes, I was expecting at least some shading. When you have no blockspace limitations, you can go crazy with the dithering

Yeah, I wanted to try some nice shading like how C64 artists can get some great color illusions using that palette... unfortunately, this was a busy weekend for me, blah blah blah - perhaps next time

Anyway, I challenge KeFF to create a piece that includes a samurai astronaut, using the ZX Spectrum color palette. (No other ZX limitations imposed)

Bleh... I'm late and it sucks too. The palette sure didn't help either; he's more like a blue person eater... I'll think of a challenge and come back later.
