Did you rename your bandcamp page? I can access it anymore.

Huh. I took it down briefly, but I put it back up; should have been up again by now. I'll try publishing it again.

If you are making dance music, just the fact that you can play a fat sine/triangle kick and a wav bass at once is enough to justify 2xLSDj. Also, being able to run one Game Boy through effects (like chorus, lots of reverb aso.) is a big plus. I like it when Game Boy music does not sound too much like game boy music.

But, you can do a lot of those things with an arduinoboy and a laptop running a DAW. I think.

I have not done any 2xLSDj tracks yet, though. And my 1xLSDj track are sub-par, only partly because i am a novice at LSDj.

One wav channel can be used to hold kicks and bass notes by alternating between them. At that, you can fit snare samples in those same phrases. 2xLSDj gives more room for layering of sounds, but LSDj can hold its own on one Game Boy.

It says on the soundcloud for the song that the song was "produced" by Sunny Norway, so is the one who should be getting most of the hate, considering he used Sabrepulse's song, the rappers didn't produce it.

This is established.  I guess at this point the damage is done.  Though maybe something can be learned from all of this.  As im getting into sound engineering myself this could be a good learning platform in the steps necessary to mixing and producing.

But the rapping is abysmal, in and of itself, and deserves to be ridiculed in its own rite.

Guys, I know we can do better than this. Next DMG confessional thread, let's try to do it in under ten posts!

To be honest, I held off for a while.

I call my penis, "The D".

My first EP, thrown together and put out in one night (In terms of mixing/recording/livemode triggering. The songs, themselves, were written about 3 months ago). I banged this one out after a long, long time of people telling me to record the tracks I play at shows. You hear me, you jackals? I did it! It's out! Take it!

Im why Sabrepulse works his babies, man. He puts effort and sweat into them, just for some guy to take one and use it for a part of God-problem arts. I've had people take my paintings, though, and that pissed me off. The producer for that opportunity just tell Sabrepulse that his was used. Its as simple as 20 minutes.
As what this means for the chipscene, i dont like it, either. I will admit that i havent even recieved my but knit. Just in this two hardware and them pretty.  The chipscene seems like one of those rarely painted completely futuristic heavy presence of nostalgia ruined by bad mainstream "composers" now that just entered. This is just my music and good, really known and dull. YOLO generation gets hold of brutally different rap we saw beggining thread.
This necessarily what would happen.

YOLO

Too long I fixed that for you

Well, 20 minutes IS pretty easy...

Id hate to see it ruined by bad rappers and mainstream "composers" now that ive just entered it. This is just my opinion, but id rather have this music community stay small and good, than really well known and dull. As soon as the YOLO generation gets hold of chip music, we can expect it to be changed into something brutally different. Like the rap video we all saw at the beggining of this thread.
This is just my view, though. Not necessarily what would happen.

I've come across black dmgs (in person) more often than any other color, of course with the exception of gray. I've seen/bought one green and one red, but I've seen three or four black ones, of which my friend bought two. Before I was into collecting, I had seen one clear as well, and I wish I would've picked it up. I think it was like $8 and in fairly nice condition, too. sad still haven't seen yellow!

I was given the option of a clear or a yellow DMG by a friend a few years back. I took the yellow.

btw can we talk about this real quick http://video.mmosite.com/default.php?co … p;id=15839

Had an atomic purple GBC as a kid, got some kind of bebe stuck in the audio jack, had hot soup spilled on it in the car once, and later fucked it up beyond repair while trying to circuit bend it. Later had a white GBA, and cracked the screen somehow. I was hit by a car on the first day of 9th grade, and I was in a wheelchair for a while during the schoolyear, and some senior felt bad and gave me his yellow Play it Loud when he saw me dicking around in Famitracker in my extra study hall. I held onto it, and waited until I got an EMS cart in senior year to use it. My greyboy (and second cart + link cable) I later got in a [edit] BRKup.
