On a serious note, I'm fifteen.
So I guess this would be a cool idea.

I live in the Arkansan Ozarks. Outside of country music, there is absolutely no music scene whatsoever, much less any sort of electronic music.

Hello. I'm Brick Breaker.

Some of you may already know my name from the recent Chiptunes = WIN compilation, where I had decided to give the group a track of mine before I realized how big the project even was. So, after being thrown into the genre a bit over my head (pun intended), I've gotten some healthy exposure to chipmusic and EDM production in general.

I'm fifteen years old, but I spent my youth playing secondhand Super Nintendo and Gameboy consoles rather than Gamecube, Xbox, and PS2. I've always been a fan of retro game music and the 8-bit aesthetic, but never knew there was such a following until a few years ago. Now, with my more recent involvement in actual production and design, I've taken a much larger interest in the low-res and chip genre.

As well, not to sound like a massive hipster douche, but with the explosion of young wannabe electronic music makers out there it's refreshing to be a part of a movement that isn't cluttered with kids my age using Garage Band to make 'dubst3p'. Also, the fact that this genre has not yet been completely raped of all credibility by mainstream pop music is also very reassuring.

So yeah, I've gotten some pretty positive response from the community. I'm currently doing a collab with Pete Lepley, also know as Phonetic Hero, so that's cool, too.

I dunno.

Chiptunes and stuff, man.
