Because the year when I was sixteen, that record seemed to be at number one the whole bloody time.

Trolls galore at 8bc, and elitist assholes here.

As far as I'm concerned, they're equally shitty.

Something to do with grown men playing with toys, I think.

Decktonic, your post was fine, as was its title. Keep participating and don't let any know-it-all put you off!

Or at least some fun and/or interesting music making apps?

Although I haven't tried the iPhone version, ReBirth is a great bit of software. Two 303s, an 808 and a 909 - what more do you need? wink Fun, fun, fun.

I was looking for a Super Game Boy for a workshop dealio at Ultra Chip in Edinburgh in week, let me know if you get any takers.

I've got the PCB of a Super Game Boy here. It would suit someone who wants to do one of NeX's mods, or maybe something else. Otherwise you could use it as it was intended, to play GB games carts, LSDJ carts, etc. on a PAL SNES.

I'll send it within mainland UK to anyone who can cover the postage. £2 should do it.

Put your email address here if you'd like the SGB board.

NeX's SGB CPU in a DMG mod (thanks, NeX! smile ):

From the article:

"it is now illegal to manufacture, import, distribute or sell in the UK any device that is "primarily designed, produced, adapted or performed for the purpose of enabling or facilitating the circumvention of the ETM employed by Nintendo to protect its copyright"."

If you live in UK, now might be the time to buy that flash cart you've been eyeing up.

I'll have the DS! I've sent you a forum email. Cheers.

Are you interested in a UK Super Speak & Spell, featuring the voice of children's favourite Brian Cant?

I found an iPhone at Glastonbury this weekend. I tracked down the owner and it turned out to be an old friend of mine.

Anyone who's ever been to Glastonbury festival will understand how unlikely that must be.

This part of the museum may interest chiptuners more:

I don't know if it's your thing, but if you fancy traveling an hour, there's the museum at Bletchley Park:

This was where the WW2 code-breakers cracked the German Enigma cypher machine, and it now houses many beautiful examples of machines from computing's history.

Denmark Street! Of course!

That's a must.

This is the fix.

I hadn't used my ArduinoBoy in a MIDI chain - I use a MIDI thru box for all my kit.

I saw this thread, tries the ArduinoBoy's MIDI thru, and indeed it didn't work.

Swapping the wires on the thru DIN socket cured it.

Thanks scienceguy8 - as far as I'm concerned, you've no need to apologise!

I'm a sucker for all kinds of toy keyboards/weird instruments (like everybody here) and we both love to go to fleamarkets. So if there's any places that are MUST for people like us, it would be much appreciated!
