I did try cleaning the contacts, when I tested it with another back pcb, it worked perfectly. Any ideas on how to fix it, kitsch?

Kitsch, have you thought about making a downloadable template for the printable sheets to aid in the printing process? It's kind of hard to shoot in the dark on these things...
