@stancoolness, just some ideas:

- I'll try not to be a dick about it, but get rid of that Dragon Ball banner. It's not out of dickness I say this, but that just don't help a lot. There are plenty of artists here on cm.o, and some could be really nice and help you out with this.
- Avoid linking "Music Suggestions" if you don't want some drama, unless you want to make sure that site is YOUR thing. Instead you could link to chipmusic tag on last.fm and soundcloud.
- Create different sessions, like, say, "Forums", "Samples", "Softwares", "Blogs", "Net labels", "Stores" and so on, I guess you got the idea. It would be really helpful to have this, specially the "Samples" session.

You can really do a nice thing, and if you want some help, don't be shy and ask it already. Good luck dude.

Sorry if you guys disagree, but that kind of stuff leads to elitism, the kind of stuff I hope most of the cm.o members don't want.

Since the moderation here really works, I guess Bit wish's idea is much more realistic, but it could also lead to a big pain in the ass to the mod guys. Why don't we just leave it the way it is? If the topic is just plain stupid, it'll be reported, closed, forgotten or whatever anyways, or as boa said, it'll be good for the lolz every now and then.

I guess I should BUMP for such a good release!

Lots of Black Moth Super Rainbow, Pavement, Yo La Tengo, My Bloody Valentine, Joy Division and Grandaddy, mostly.

Like herr_prof said, it's just a matter of configuration if the map display's past events or not. And actually, I believe a lot of stuff can be done with not much maintenance required. If this page was made in C# I could do it in less then 5 hours probably.

Reading through a post on cm.o (Any germans here? to be scecific), I've realised it would be easier for people to meet if there was a feature like one from last.fm where interesting gigs are displayed in google maps. I don't know how it could work (although the maps part is pretty easy).

Why I think it would be helpful:

- new members on cm.o, on the scene in general and lurkers would find chipmusic events in an easier way
- members from places with a scarce scene would be able to define a radius of maximum distance from a point (say, you're from some country in europe with almost no scene, but you can afford going to some distant places)
- mostly it.

What do you guys think?

Still waiting for your updates dude.

Oh man. Worst place to put the start and select buttons!

I guess this (or a version of this) is the most wanted feature for most of piggy users. But maybe we don't need to use soundfont as output format, for sake of not losing the tables and stuff.

Dude, srsly ... don't even start the drama. You can't come to a piggy thread and diss one of the most proeminents piggy artists just because you receive a hard answer or wtvr. You should respect the one's like herr_prof and what they've done to this comunity.

Also, the soundfont tutorial he made was probably a favour for marc (who develops lgpt in case you don't know), since herr is one of the top contributors for the lgpt development.
