ant1 wrote:the annoying thing is that this thread could have been called simply "when do you usually compose" and every post in it so far besides mine and 4mat's would have made sense, AND me and 4mat could have contributed something a little more constructive
and there are a Lot of threads like this which seem to exclude the, ahem, "minorities", for no real reason. non lsdj users might start to feel like, ahem, "second class citizens", and just do stuff like write "never" in this thread or start a new thread called "when do you usually use xm/it trackers?", both of which you would find annoying
and it is a symptom of the general attitude of the, ahem, "scene", that people are putting LSDJ in thread titles where it doesn't belong just because they FORGOT that there are non-lsdj users here too.
By no means I wanted to exclude anyone from replying and participating in this thread. The main thing here was that LSDJ is something portable, and so I was interested to hear if people make music hanging from a tree or while in the bus.
Of course I'd love to hear about people who use different trackers for different platforms. I just didn't think about it when I made the thread. I'm still a noob in the scene, and don't even know of the existance of many trackers yet.
I'll change the thread title right now, and if I can't I'd like a mod to change it for me.
And sorry, if I've made someone a "second class citizen" unwillingly.

A: Never during the times that i plan to.
I'd absolutely agree to that : P

Yeah, let's talk about monkeys.

Ankward.
Just a question that came up to me while watching your awesome setups: How do you sync the DS with Korg DS-10 with a DMG?
Hello everyone!
I am curious about this. Do you use your trackers before going to sleep? In the bus? And how often?
I've realised I use LSDJ with the same constancy as if I was playing a Game Boy game. That is, in my free time, and when I feel like it, I give it an hour or two. Because of this I've discovered that my songs are composed after several days or weeks, because of this lack of continuity. That also makes me feel they are a bit too heterogeneous sometimes...
So what are your thoughts?
It does look coool : O Congrats to whoever made the artwork!
Thank you very much for your advice. I'll defintely give it a try, but I'll listen to other people, specially if they've tried the mod themselves. I've read in other forums that apparently it depends on which SP you're using, because the first batch was perfect for the CGB mod, not as much as the rest, apparently... Seems more complicated that it was at first.
I'll keep track to see if I can catch you by then, once you have a set date and so on. Anyway I take note of your offering : ) Thanks!
Hmmmm. And that is sticked to the LCD or frontlight? (I think LCD : S)
Which type should I get? I have no idea of what I'm loking for really xD It seems that whatever I get, I'll have to cut it to fit the size of the GB.

E: grammatic error
Nope.... They've told me about it here already, but how am I sure it'll do any good? Where can I get it? I've heard that the main problem with that are bubbles when you put it... -.-
If I try it, is it possible to remove it?
It's dark already, the problem is that it is illuminated, but you can't really see anything on the screen...
Nope, LSDJ is almost invisible there xD
Here's a pic of how it looks like:

In reality it's a bit darker and those weird lines on the right are not happening really.
I'm reviving this thread, again asking for help. I got another SP and retried the mod. This time I was extra careful with the frontlight, and gently put it inside the Game Boy. I also changed the old ribbon connector so I could say the whole frontlight set is new. What is my surprise when I close the CGB and find the same keeps happening! I tried to turn it around and then it's too bright to see (how it should be, from what I've read).
How can it be that it still is too dark to see properly now? Could it be a question of the wiring? I used thin wires from an old RJ-45 cable I think.
I'm quite desperate now XD
Now that you say, if someone wants to add something about LSDJ and Audacity, be welcome xD
