I must say, the artwork is pretty righteous! next time you release a comp give yourself more time though!

do you have artwork yet? it would be cool to have multiple artists collab on a simple halloween 8bit art. maybe even a skull where each artist takes a small section (20x180px) to work on and then we could line them all together.. idk just throwin halloween ideas around!

Good idea but this needs to be released like tonight sad

I put together a generic one that we can fall back on if nothing better comes up

fuck, well maybe we could use an interim artwork and then change it when we have a solid one? wish there was more time to figure out. A collab cover art would be ideal just because so many people want to have input on the cover.

Short-term, this will be great. It's a really good idea.

But I still wonder if long-term, the dye will permeate into the surrounding white after years of 1000's of button pressings. I dont know how synthetic pigment dyes affect silicone integrity. Since black dyes are usually multiple pigments you might also end up (long-term) with a cooler/warmer black than the original, with partial pigment loss. I do know blue pigment(ultramarine) is quite permanent compared to a lot of red pigment. I guess only time will tell though!

Hi! I'm B-train and I'm from Chicago, IL. I always loved VGM growing up playing NES and Genesis. In my teen years I began writing music in a hardcore punk band. These two elements have now coalesced into what I do now! I try to just make fun songs with catchy leads, usually simply structured. I work with fruityloops 8 and a micro Korg, no other hardware right now. To chip purists, I know, I'm making a huge mistake. But I enjoy writing in my (software)comfort zone because I know how to tame the FL beast. Anywhooo- Im the new guy, just looking to find new cool chip artists and maybe make some friends here.
