The story so far, sorry just venting.
If anyone knows this guy and is in recent contact, I'd really appreciate at least some idea where this is at, anything!
09Oct12 - ordered, paid
12Oct12 - emailed via Google Wallet to say hi and see if there was an ETA...nothing back
18Oct12 - emailed again...nothing back
01Nov12 - emailed again...nothing back
08Nov12 - emailed again...nothing back
14Nov12 - emailed again...nothing back
I've also sent x2 FB messages and another email outside of Google Wallet using the web site contact address.
I don't actually mind waiting if there was some expectation set - it's the not knowing and lack of a single courtesy email that is frustrating. In between similar items have come and gone through eBay and on this forum that I could have purchased but my £100 is tied up on this order right now.
Cheers,
LW.

Oh, right - that's great!
So, this would connect a DMG to the printer?

Hey folks,
I was happy buying a cheap gameboy printer but unhappy when it turned up with no cable, and cables seem to be 4 or 5 times the price I paid for the printer I should have done my research, I thought a regular link cable would work, but no. Ok, so...
Anyone in the UK up for selling one, hopefully cheap-ish, via paypal?
Cheers,
LW.

I'll have a look into that, thanks for the advice. I have a spare GB also, so I can practice on that.

Topic: Solder alternative -- wire glue? (for GB pro sound mod) (4 replies, posted in Tutorials, Mods & How-To's)
Hi there,
I've only used solder a few times and I'm wondering if conductive glue is a simple alternative for my first internal game boy pro sound mod. Any advice/experience with wire glue? Just looking to do things the easy way, to start with.
(sorry just realised - wrong forum? )
Cheers,

Topic: DMG-01 corrosion on the board (1 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
Hi all,
I dug out my DMG-01 from the loft recently, actually I can't remember how I got hold of this one, but it was years back - anyway. Powered it on and it had a few issues, no speaker sound (but jack is ok), a/c power cutting on/off so using batteries, and after about 30 minutes use the screen starts to fade. So, decided to open it up and here is what I found...I am new to the inner workings of the GB, any thoughts, does it look recoverable?
Sorry, can't get pic embed to work (?) so here are the dropbox links directly...

Hi all,
FYI, encouraging update on djtransformers site. I'll be happy when I have goods received of course, but sounds like progress

Thanks for the tip - looks like Google Wallet dispute is <90 days. I want to give the guy a fair chance but gut-feel ain't great right now. I've started looking at alternatives but the big draw to transformer was being UK based.
Kitsch you site looks great, I also had a look at ThursdayCustoms, Thnikk, and of course eBay.
Seems the hardest thing to come by is not the pro sound gameboy but the flash carts, kicking myself as one or two LSDJ carts passed through eBay recently and I missed out (as I'd just ordered from transformer).
Cheers,
LW.

Re: Is DJTransformer a reliable seller? (56 replies, posted in General Discussion)
Hi,
Appreciate the quick replies. I only ordered a week ago, but when I ordered my items were in-stock so I assumed it was a simple case of pay up then it gets posted. This may all turn out OK but so far I've had no reply to a simple question about when to expect the item, that's all. Happy to wait a few weeks but I'd like to know he's at least alive and has it planned.
But the only reason not to sit back and relax is that I searched a bit deeper and it seems orders can take many many months, and it's hard to get hold of the guy, not read much positive so though I'd ask here directly.
So it's the potential not-knowing that's a worry, could be here tomorrow, could be next year. I'd rather get my money back and spend it where I understand the turnaround and the seller can reply to email.
Cheers,
LW.
