there was an 'official' cartridge put out for sale on the nanoloop site in a very limited #.  i *think* it differs in that it has some limited saving ability?

I managed to score one of these official carts recently. It has 16 save slots. it responds well (stays synced with unmodded gbc/gbasp/dmg) to a pitch modded gameboy.

whats the likelihood of obtaining one?

What does the free version mean? Like is there another version of it?

What Kitsch-bent and most people don't mention is that the hum can be quite loud (depending on a lot of factors) and some people may find them more annoying than others. I've heard a unit that was unbearably bad and others that didn't really bother me (but bothered their owners).

That said, they are much nicer looking. With good installation and a bit of faraday shielding you might get away with little to no hum.

This was the kind of answer I was looking for thanks.

What really is the difference? Like sound & picture? I ask this because I'm going to electrician relatives house who has the motherload of tools I could use and I'm there for a few days so I'd like to order by tonight.

Oh lovely! I was thinking of this and someone already did it. How is the sound quality on the pro sound and headphone jack?

Get cotton wool tips (the kind people clean their ears with), get some white vinegar, dip the tips in the vinegar, scrub the corrosion. It melts off like nothing big_smile

If you have a moderately decent iron capable of heating the pads, just remove the battery contacts, soak them in vinegar, then resolder them.

I'm not really pro at soldering so I'm hoping for the most simplest method

How does one fix battery corrosion on the PCB contact I want to start my first mod but this crap is getting in the way anyone know a method of curing this so i can finally proceed with my work
