I thought it might be possible to systematically reorganize the wires until it works. Yes, I'm that incompetent.

Are you adding the 5v pin?
No.
Thanks for the response, Burnfingers!
Unfortunately I've no multimeter on hand. Would it be possible to brute-force the right connections? Or would that be detrimental?
So I'm working on an Arduino Boy.
I've cut a DMG-04 into two pieces and have stripped one down to work with. There are four wires, one red, one blue, one green, and one orange. It appears that this is an unconventional method. I don't know which wire is which and can't seem to find any documentation on this.
I'm using this schematic: http://www.instructables.com/id/Build-a schematic/
If I screwed up really bad, I've a DMG-07 I can use as backup.
I'm new to this, if you can't tell.
Thanks.
Offer closed!
Thank you!
I heard multiple things that help.Smearing a banana onto the scratch(i remember that was for cds or also for such hmmmm)
Don't really know to tell you more, try to google or regular scratches doesn't have to be specific for this, other methods can work in your case as well.
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll look into it!
I think you're going to be pretty much out of luck for that.
To be honest I don't really mind it. It could've been worse; the scratches could be on the front. So long as the DMG is operational, I've nothing to worry about. I'll do what I can.
So I just got back from obliterating the polarization layer of my Game Boy. It wasn't pretty.
As it turns out, I didn't screw up the ribbon cable in the process! You have no idea how surprised I am! However, I've been left with one or two pretty nasty scratches. Don't ask
I'd like to know if they can be removed. Right now I'm not willing to find a replacement. I plan to solder the backlight, regardless of whether the scratches can be removed or not, but leave the wires long so I can cut them when I do get a replacement somewhere down the line.
I hear non-abrasive toothpaste works. Anyone tried it?
I'll gladly buy the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts games.
EDIT: As well as Pokémon: Silver and Tetris.
Hello.
I'm looking to get my hands on a GP2X in a moderately decent condition with the essential accessories (and preferably in black, haha). I've been trying to get one through eBay but it just hasn't been working out.
My starting offer is ~ $50 + shipping. If this doesn't seem fair, make me an offer.
You'd be mailing the machine to my abode up here in western Maine. Transaction via Paypal. Payment ASAP (I only have internet access half the time).
Thank you.
EDIT: Landed one! Thanks to everyone who viewed the topic!
- Never mind, it all worked out -
Thanks again, Kitsch!
Thanks, Kitsch!
