his kit provides a mild boosted audio output (fixed) to the NES console. pulse channels are output on the left, triangle/wave/noise channels are output on the right. if ONLY left output is used, all channels are summed to mono on this output.
this circuit also provides protection to your NES's main board from reverse voltage spikes.
Just dropping by to say this kit is awesome and it takes a lot of work out of making a safe and good sounding audio mod.
I have it in my NES and C64. Definitely worth the price.
Awesome! Thanks, Matt! I'm pretty excited about these being on the market and I will be stocking these if possible.
I believe both of the illuminated pictures are of the high transparency sets. The non illuminated picture is of the low transparency set.
Honestly though they both look great when backlit. The high transparency was just a bit easier to get a picture of.
I would say the biggest difference is the the high transparency pops more. It looks more like an LED would look if it was button shaped.
The low transparency buttons are a much calmer glow with more even diffusion but as you can see even the high transparency buttons diffuse wonderfully!

I can really see the color difference like that, and get the cool vs. warm a bit better.

I like the sound of that, and I think it would also look good on a stock case. I really wish I could get an original style case in that color. Maybe try it with the light grey buttons and such. I don't want to go the paint route (although painting inside a clear might be my best option) as it might too easily get messed up.
Try rust oleum 2x coverage spray paint. It chemically bonds to the plastic after a week and it's super thick paint. Doesn't run or chip. Top it off with 2-3 coats of their 2x matte clear coat and you're golden. I've had this grey game boy for over a year. The only scratch on it is from dropping it on concrete and that would have done just as much damage to a regular shell(it dented the paint. Didn't crack off). My Nuby amplifier doesn't even scratch it. I use it all the time.
Here's the color match up. It's a lot closer IRL:
But here's what it actually looks like:

I really like the dark grey paint job Justin did that I can't seem to find.
This guy right here?
I'm probably the reason he's doing greys. I've been pushing... I need a grey that matches this case perfectly. It's just a grey primer that matches the stock grey boy grey screen cover and start/select buttons.
This is an old console, I'll have to get a photo of my current one. It's a perfect match!
Thanks! They all sold so that's cool! I'll try to get some more up in a few weeks if I can. Probably going to focus on 3DS though.
Well, it's been two years since we released our first "album" which was actually a demo. We planned to finish that demo and release a real album under the same name. Time goes by and life happens but I keep writing music. So here is our 2nd demo. World: Two:

Check out the new and improved Variable Clock page! All new pictures, descriptions and tutorials. Prices have also changed for "Basic" and "Full" kits. Hopefully it all makes more sense now and will make your purchasing decision easier! Also, the micro pot and knob set dropped to $5!

Okay I can get you the measurements. I designed the PCB with a separate USB breakout board so it would be easier to place mini USB port elsewhere. The a type won't fit in the case.

You sure have man! I was really wanting to build my own into a transfer pak shell but you slacked off.
I didn't want to steal the idea though.
Nice, I'll add a link in my tut. Lol at those comments.
I'd be happy to send you my current eagle files and you can go from there for the next batch. I'm pretty sure they're correct but haven't tested it.
