DMG-CPU-01,02 and 03 all have wave track "glitches". Samples have a ton of distortion over them. I've sure you could actually make some cool sounds with it but for just drums it's useless. Certain waveforms will have different levels of distortion as well. I have a whole pile of these because I can't sell them in orders.

Have you tried a new LSDj version with my noise reduction trick on one of those older CPUs? I don't actually own one of those older CPU models...

I have not tried that. Can you post me a link? I can probably do a sound comparison tomorrow.

There isn't really any... I lied.

Although some say CPU 1 doesn't really work well with wave channel.
Other than that, you probably need professional equipment to find a difference.

I'm sorry guys. I'll have a look at this when I get the chance.

Thanks a lot! I really appreciate it. I have an Arduino Boy but it's overkill for what I'm looking to do.

I haven't been able to find his email either.
I'm trying to use the Teensy for LSDJ sync and it simply doesn't work as it should. Tried emailing him through here but haven't heard back yet.

I've got the perfect paint for this that I've been using for awhile now. I charge $30 for a single color on a shell with clear coat.
Here's one I painted for someone before:

The color is called "Lagoon".
Send me a PM if you're interested in getting a shell done up!

This took me a few minutes as well when I started using Ableton. Just go through all the settings and make sure it's sending a master clock signal.

hey
This is kind of old, but i'm planning to mod my c64c for use with mssiah. I'd like to protect the sid's ouputs and inputs.
I know, people have successfully installed low-gain's NESmod, but i can't shell out 45 bucks + shipping to europe anytime in the near future. So i'm looking for diy alternatives.

Would a vanilla unity gain buffer along the lines of this (the first opamp buffer) be sufficient to protect the sid? And can i use the same configuration for the audio input?

any hints would be appreciated!

I did something similar. No problems so far.
