Yes, I agree! I just don't have the right printer to do this. I could cut them to 4x6 or 5x7 and use the photo tray but that involves some measurement.

Topic: Printable Screen Covers By Kitsch-Bent (18 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
These are pretty cool.
Stickable photo paper that you print your design on. Stick it to the Game Boy and then place the clear screen cover over it.
I ran mine through a regular printer since it's all I had so it is a little smeared. But it looks pretty decent!
You have to put clear cover on like a cell phone screen protector to avoid bubbles which I also did not do.
I just found some generic patterns to test out.
Pretty neat!
These should be out soon as far as I know!

Lol. Yeah it's a joke. But you can still check out the 8-bit graphics on google maps and I thought that was cool enough!

I searched and didn't find anything. I figured this topic would have been here somewhere.
Coolest thing Google has ever done!

Hmm, I saw one on eBay for about 350$, so if it's anything like that, I'll have to pass.

Do you have any pictures?
I can take some tomorrow. Would you want any mods done to it? I was just going to backlight and pro-sound the thing and put it up on my shop.

Kitsch might be able to answer that better than me. I haven't gotten to use it a whole lot.
I changed the hook up points to the regulator board and there is zero background noise now. AWESOME.

Definitely get someone to look at if you don't feel confident. The ribbon cable does not usually tear. What happens is when it is folded too much it gets creased and then the metal traces in the ribbon cable actually break under the insulation which can be hard to see a lot of the time.
A good way to test this is to actually just open it up. Don't remove any boards. Power it up and fold the ribbon cable back and forth. You may see the screen flicker on and off. You will know immediately if it does or not. Power it off and then get back to me.
