ive experimented a bit with streaming sets, so far my biggest gripe is the quality of the streaming video (not good, ~15 fps, some sync issues)... that being said, people can mix in other things using software or hardware (i run my full video rig in using a video capture device... you should be able to find some software that will let you mix in the webcam with visuals, possbily neuromixer)... there are ways to make viewing a bit more interesting, just hope the video quality improves

AMEN zomvor. there is a big difference between saying a gameboy unce track is 'gay'.....than calling someone outright 'you're totally gay / a fag'. Just my opinion. I think people are seriously being pedantic if they get offended if you call a super cheesey track 'a bit gay'. Ive made that comment of course millions of time, i wont in future on here, but what i mean is that i would never say to someone 'this song sucks you fucking faggot'.
hey, guess what? both could make someone feel uncomfortable
im going to call super cheesy, completely clueless and/or horribly stuck in the past tracks "totally downstate" from now on

Re: Using LSDJ as a midi sequencer! (180 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
The 505 syncs to the computer without a problem, but not with the Game Boy.
doesnt seem like it, but it might be a good thing to test
edit: also, as silly as this question seems, did you hit play on the 505? lsdj might not send start/stop signals, just raw clock

Re: Using LSDJ as a midi sequencer! (180 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
the 505 needs to be set to external midi clock manually, its somewhere in the midi menus (dont have batteries in mine right now, or id be more specific)
edit: though if its syncing to the computer, that seems weird..

well, thanks peter...and the rest of you should thank every other mod for not letting me just set people on fire when they are being kind of dick-ish
overall though, the relatively mature response to the new rule makes me a little less angry at all of you as a whole... i almost like being in this scene again... shit keeps up, ill stop hiding the game boy tattoo

umm, wait... you want a sample to play once, without looping? all you need to do is leave loop mode set to off

Re: New rule regarding discriminatory speech. (97 replies, posted in Rules & Announcements)
its less about censoring because people are using the words in a bad way specifically and more that we'd prefer those words not be on the forum at all as they reflect poorly on the site, the scene and all of us in it... as was said, we don't want someone new to check out the site, see that kind of stuff and leave thinking that we are ok with that kind of crap

depending on how seriously the artist takes the NC stuff, all youtube may be out the window even if you arent monetizing it (but just based on youtube itself being a commercial website)
