probably would work with a super gameboy though

Re: Upcoming Releases (617 replies, posted in Releases)
not going to really go into details, but i'm working on a new environmental sound collapse album for the first time in 3 years, plus another release as d_strct (my beat driven piggy tracker project) & one or two more noise releases as first of the ninth

that guy is fucking awful. can't believe he only served 4 months when some people get 10+ years for marijuana possession (usually people of color). hate this broken system so much at this point. normally something like this wouldn't be allowed, but i think we can make an exception in this case

Re: mGB + Nanoloop + MIDI-USB adapter (4 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
yeah, you need to use mGB in that case. set the adapter to MIDI mode using that .bat file from the zip in the other thread, boot the cart into whichever bank you loaded mGB (either hitting A or B at the start screen, whichever you put it in) and you should be good to go

Re: mGB + Nanoloop + MIDI-USB adapter (4 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
i'm confused. if you only have the one cart, you can only run either nanoloop or mGB at any given time. there is no nanoloop mode in mGB. which do you plan to use with ableton, nanoloop or mGB? if you're using nanoloop, you want to set the nanoloop usb midi adapter to SYNC mode. if mGB, you set the adapter to MIDI
edit: to clarify, you'd set the nanoloop usb midi adapter mode with the nlmidi command line tool (or more likely just use the .bat included in that zip). think you can with the web based version too, i just never use that myself

since this is now just turning into lots of bickering, i'm going to temporarily close it. unexpectedbowtie: send me a PM when you receive the item (or if a significant amount of time passes with still no sign of it) and i'll re-open the thread.

This is really cool! Glad to see you are donating some money to marc! Would you ever be interested in posting the disk image, for people who already own a pi?
Also it would be cool if you ever added serial midi out to the box:

agreed. if you were to do more, might also be worth doing some in a smaller size as well, if feasible.. like 3" screen

looks legit, but damaged. might be worth posting about in the nanoloop facebook group as oliver sometimes checks it and might know if it's repairable or not

seriously, you could ALMOST get the benefit of the doubt if it were only one instance, but what about Arnie who seems to have had similar experience with you?

not sure why he wiped his soundcloud and stuff but maybe that means he's gearing up to release new different stuff...who's to say.
Yeah I've seen some of the sets posted last December. I was kinda looking to contact him though so the fact that he's wiped every way to do so is a little confounding.
i can try pointing him towards this thread

How complete is this project? I could totally build you one, but I'm not totally sure how complete the project is.
since it's a trash80 project, i'd just try asking him directy

Re: Upcoming Releases (617 replies, posted in Releases)
Just posted this album few days ago. Some kinda modern hardcore-ish chip-music or anything you wish to call this. Hope your ears could stand this shit! https://sonofabit.bandcamp.com/album/chorophobia-ep
this is pretty damn good, you should make a topic in the "releases" section for it so more people notice it
edit: posted the link from the datathrash facebook page, hope it helps get it some more listens/downloads
