O gee, sorry for not being a total fucking fag and reading your dumb fucking posts everyday. Get a fucking life.
umm, ok, think hed just said "relax", cant really see how this response is justified (and not even sure who it was directed at, tbh)

Take me off the list, please.
nooo
im planning on giving it a shot
I may be going back and mangling some of my old stuff in piggy tracker soon, but I usually move on, often by selling old gear so I can't play them anymore

All at the same time?
Last year, one was in the afternoon, the other at night...worked fine, right?

Finally, someone else who's willing to say it. New York is like a ghost town. Every time I go out there's nobody in the bars or on the streets. It looks like a scene from "I Am Legend." I smashed a car window the other day just to hear the alarm because I was so afraid that I had gone deaf in the overwhelming silence of the city. I've been hanging out with a couple of rats and a pinecone because I can't find anyone to talk to here. And forget about bands. The village voice music pages look like a broad desert of nothing, fit for naught but frustrated and lonely origami. I miss the good old days when you could run into as many as six people in a night. Sometimes I think I'm dreaming and I've truly been abandoned here. Last night I walked from Fort Clinton to the Cloisters and the only person I saw was a statue of Fiorello Laguardia. I talked to him for THREE hours just for the company. The nice thing is that all the liquor stores and supermarkets seem to be stocked so i can have as many canned vegetables and drinks I want (I'm trying to drink all the Kahlua in Manhattan before it goes bad.)
I'd love to move to Montreal or Paris because I've forgotten what it feels like to hug someone or even shake a hand. But I don't know if I'd be able to find a qualified pilot in the deafening emptiness of these fatal concrete valleys.
well played, sir
Some bus routes are now 24 hrs..like western
Also Chicago has 24 hour transit and that's been of little help here, we rarely get more than 20-30 people at a gig
george: ever thought that maybe you (like myself) don't like chipmusic much if you only find 2-3 artists on the bill you're excited to see? if so, best to accept it and go for the hanging out primarily (or skip if so inclined)
the 1up bar and arcade in downtown denver just opened a block from coors stadium. chiptune lovers dream bar
haha, he was asking about ones near west virginia/DC area...your suggestion was about 1600 miles west of him
I'd prefer colonel e.s.c., but since I don't have the white suit & beard, I take what I get

I know, that's why I said.
Well, that'd be why we wouldn't do it again...2008 was a long time ago, Mr sonicbeat
Also, while the people who did that one are staff here now, wed still have to hear people say we copied ity from that other forum
April's fool should be Nordloaf's day.
Been done before...
This anonymous thing is awesome xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
what are you talking about?

fuck knows what this thread is about, but this is a great statement.
its a silly statement (though im sure you were teasing), based mostly on the fact that people tend to pay more attention to the east coast, since they have pulsewave & 8static (which are both awesome, dont get me wrong)..scene is pretty far spread, both in the US and abroad, so if youre jealous of the east coast's scene, go support your local chip acts & get involved...if more people came to gigs in chicago, we could book more out of town acts here, cause its not like they dont want to come here and hang out, just hard to pay an out of town act fairly when the turn out is too low for the venue to share any door money (nov 28th chicago show was at a venue that required at least 45-50 paying entries for even a single dollar to go to the artists, needless to say, no one got paid)
If you're from Chicago, you should've been going to shows here...there's myself, saskrotch, kkrusty, etc
