haha, yeah, we were in the middle of the floor, it was a roller rink (which was actually renting skates too last night) so wed look up and some candy raver would just glide right in front of us..pretty surreal...our estimates put roughly 50% of the crowd in the "rolling balls/tits" category

video setup from last night (with ccdm & baconhanger)

except for the projector, laptop on the right, numark vj controller and kaoss pad entrancer on the right, its my stuff...was fun to use most of my video gear setup out for the first time in awhile

the tables were to keep the ravers at a safe distance from us and our gear, and it worked pretty well smile

im silently laughing in my head a little about the "finally", since i only started the album feb 1st wink

emar: i cant remember which was the last demo version i sent you (there were 4 or so i shared around), but everythings rerecorded and mastered, and i def. changed blazes in the nights sky (minutes before i rerecorded)... not a huge change, but it helps the flow a little

I found those things terrible, barely any space with all the dividers!

As for the pelican laptop overnight case, I checked out the video on pelican's site, and it looks like the compartment inside isn't padded (has no foam)

Also, with regards to coffin/flight cases and the like - i'd be very worried about taking those things to other countries, you'd get picked up by immigration as a musician in a flash. Ask anamanaguchi why this isn't something you'd want to advertise wink

this is a bit of a downer....

i'm specifically looking to put my akai apc40 ableton controller in whatever case - something like this might fit the bill

haha yeah, i was going to try playing overseas last summer, but couldnt figure a good sneaky way to do it as far as the electribe in time to work that out, none of the other gear for that setup looks like musical equipment

scorched earth tactics
8 songs of apocalyptic glitchiness dedicated to all those who are broken hearted, fucked up, or just paying attention to the way the world is going

done with piggy tracker on gp2x f200, piggy=>midi, circuit bent yamaha rx-17, circuit bent roland tr-505, dave smith instruments mopho, yamaha cs-01 (with highly liquid mod), & midines
songs written in february 2010

hope you like it

edit: special thanks to low-gain for making some of the gear vital to this & to oxygenstar for selling me his spare midines in time to get this finished the way it needed to sound (and not having to use old versions)

I was going to link to one of these in my original post but thought it might seem a little overkill

http://www.pelican.com/cases_detail.php?Case=1510LOC

seems like it would fit everything I use

It's on the expensive side but these things look like they'd survive a war!

yeah, thats the one...my current foam interior has room for the following: korg electribe esx-1, 2 dmgs, 1 nuby light, 1 midi=>gb, power supplies for both midi=>gb & electribe, 2 gb micros, 1 psp slim, some batteries & a few cables

got one after seeing the calbee was using one and figure it was a great idea since i saw it dropped off a luggage ramp about 4 times in a row on my way home from blip
will say it baffled aiport security a  little though smile
