Could you describe the issue ?
Today I'm using nanoloop 2.7.x with analog sync in with an electribe 2, it is rock solid. The cable come from one guy on this forum, great cable smile
I don't have try it with an analog rythm, because I don't own one, i'd like to have one, but I like detail, and what is this ground issue ?

ground loops cause a humming sound

well, aly james fmdrive is also the same kind of research to rather precisely replicate the sound of ym2612 chip and he only wants a $10 donation!

that does ONE chip. how many does chipsounds do? and how much would the hardware and software to use those chips cost? i'd say it's a fair price, plenty of less versatile synth vsts cost more than it does

And why 8BC ended?

https://chipflip.wordpress.com/2010/01/ … leepbloop/

that's not why 8bc ended, the site continued for a while after that. that's just when a lot of us left and made this site

also worth pointing out that a significant percentage (possibly around 1/3rd) of accounts on 8bc were ones that only seemed to participate by voting on tracks they liked on one or two instances before being abandoned.. add in all the accounts that were just people posting stupid memes in off-topic threads and it's no surprise that this site has a much smaller active user base.. on top of all that, after 8bc died and many users flocked here they significantly altered the way people interact on this site which caused many long-time chip musicians to decide to just avoid forums entirely...

from my experience, all piggy midi platforms have a slight drift in their clock signal (except possibly osx, only because i havent tested it).. it's not enough to really sound wrong, but 1-3 bpm up and down changing very quickly.. seems to average out correctly over each phrase.. i only notice it because the edirol v4 has the bpm in nice big bright numbers

i've only tested it using my mackie onyx 1220i as my soundcard and didn't have any trouble with that but most people don't use firewire

i think people mistake the fact that so many artists are socially awkward for them being standoffish.. though i can think of one or two artists off the top of my head that definitely have gotten a big head, they're the exceptions

windows seems to handle midi fine as well, though some people have reported some latency issues but that would likely vary a lot based on your setup

Hello , someone has managed to run lgpt on a raspberry pi 3 ? I've got a crapy glitchy slowly sound.

have you already tried an external soundcard? i know one or two other people mentioned having issues with the pi 3 and piggy tracker's audio so that might be something someone who is comfortable coding should look at (thankfully piggy is open source now)

yeah, that guy is total garbage for so many reasons. it's always a shame when someone like that turns up in this scene since most of this scene is made up of exceptionally nice people, but every once in a while a shitty person turns up. though he clearly was the worst by far. i agree that he should have gotten far more jail time given that he knew what he was doing to other people and of course the number of people his actions effected. the US legal system has a long way to go when it comes to crimes of this nature and sexual assault. i think anything less than 1 yr/per victim is a total miscarriage of justice, this guy should have been in prison until he died.

why'd you use the debian instead of the raspi build? i'm guessing that's a factor

thats because genre names are pretty much always a stupid, overly simplistic way of describing music
