lol, also just saw the updated first post claiming we're just jealous.... because of course that's the only reason someone wouldn't be impressed, not just because we know a shitload more about the history of modding game boys than the people on reddit... have fun pretending that you're some trailblazer while talking to people who don't know enough about game boy modding to call you out on it

wow, you really felt the need to call us anal retentive just because we pointed out that all that was going on was that it was inverted? and then rage-quit the site? sorry we don't all just bow down and kiss your feet, but come on... you're standing on the shoulders of der warst anyway since he was the first person (at least that i know of) doing lighting mods inside game boys back in 2004, yet hardly anyone doing backlight gives him the credit he deserves despite making a lot of money off something he figured out how to do and was kind enough to share freely on the internet

Thing is, this in not just an inverted screen. If it was, I'd have called it such. It blows regular inverted out of the water, for starters.

how so? i'm with apeshit on this, just looks like a normal inverted screen w/backlight

no problem, just wanted to help avoid any potential trouble for you or the buyer.. whatever it was, i don't remember it being a huge deal for me though i still parted with my cart after i got my 4th normal 1.3

might be best to just try emailing oliver then... i wish i could remember what it was that was different about 1.3b... maybe it had trouble working on some game boys? maybe doesn't work on GBC? hmmm

i'd think the price is about right, unless you need the cash soon i'd leave the price where it is (and maybe take it to ebay if no one bites here for a while)... don't let the fact that most of the people on here are pretty cheap stop you from getting a fair price for it... if it were 1.3, not 1.3b, it would be worth a little more... i still can't remember what the bug was on the 1.3b carts (i had one, but got rid of it maybe 7 years ago since i had 4 1.3 carts besides the 1.3b), but anyone using or buying one should definitely look it up or email oliver since i imagine he'd remember... times like this that i miss the old nanoloop forums because i know for sure the info on the bug was there... i think it was something to do with when you power on, possibly that hitting any button besides start to enter nanoloop messed something up?

i used to have one of these, very sturdy cases

lol, daniel with the simultaneous post

a few things to keep in mind about this one: only one stereo input has 3-band EQ & while used as an interface it sends the main output signal, not each channel separately (which is ok, just want to make sure you aren't expecting each game boy to be recorded as its own stereo wav file)
if neither one of those things bothers you, this should be fine

weird.. heosphoros had trouble too, but both trash80 and myself tested it and had no issues.. i'll let trash know that it wasn't an isolated incident so it can get looked into

coming soon: sets from 2011 by saskrotch, br1ght pr1mate, disasterpeace... also think i have unedited stuff somewhere from Bleep South gig in Florida in 2010, plus anything i've uploaded on vimeo already and forgot to post here or have edited already and forgot to upload in the first place... eventually a bunch of e.s.c. sets too, but those are the lowest priority

it seems you are talking about 2 different things here, time signature vs. groove - first you want to know if you can do 3/4 without H. well sure, keep groove set to 6/6 and just use 3 phrases for every 4 bars instead of 4 (12 16th notes x 4 bars = 48 lines; beat 1 of bar 2 starts on line 0C of the first phrase, etc). however this won't make it as easy to remember which bar of the song you are sequencing, and if you're not careful it might cause your chains to come out of sync.

forgot about this workaround, i used to do this in nanoloop back when you couldn't change pattern length

sounds like you're doing a lot extra work for no good reason.. i'd just stick with using H commands for 3/4 time

This should be in members only?

doesn't seem like that's necessary, i'd imagine anyone who wouldn't want random people following them would set their settings on twitter accordingly
