if it really were just grounding issues, id think id have had more issues with it myself, since the power supply for a gp2x is def not grounded.. i used it both piggy->midi directly connected and with thrus, the only thru situation that caused me issue was passing it through my mopho, but that was probably because it was adding to the midi data (which was just clock, note and cc from piggy, though was sending note data to other hardware besides just midines)

the uforce was really one of the worst controllers ever. had it when they were new, pretty sure we tried it for less than 15 minutes before deciding it was garbage and putting it in a box until i traded my nes stuff in

nah, really the orig is fine

i'm guessing you've tried a different NES? i used to have issues with midines in one of my decks that sound similar.. other people have had issues with different thrus, but if youve also tried direct sequencer to midines, that seems unlikely...
one thing that might be worth checking would be the solder joints where the midi cable connects to the midines cart's board,
since i live in chicago too, i could help you test a few things if you want (got rid of my midines, but still have the better of my NES decks and a piggy->midi setup that was working well with midines for years)

i usually let them all pile up and then just work nonstop for about a week until everything is either done or cancelled. pretty sure there are better ways

if a staff member closes a thread, do NOT make an identical new one. they closed it for a reason

No, as one of the site's administrators I am simply suggesting that perhaps a permaban of someone who is not really contributing to the community and brazenly calling out a moderator who clearly acted within the boundaries of the rules (auction end update bumps, pffft), might be in the best interest of this forum.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with an end auction update on according to the forum rules. Look it up again bud. I did nothing deserving of a ban whatsoever. A permanent ban would be completely immoral and wrong because I technically did not violate the rules in any way. The fist time I bumped the listing I was warned by KITSCH. I stopped after that.

you do realize making a new thread about the same thing is the same as a bump, right? not technically, but in all practical ways

woo!

Are you fucking stupid?

seems so, yes

warned not to bump thread
bumps thread
thread closed
makes new thread
gets banned
freaks out about it for being unfair
posts evidence proving that ban was justified while claiming it proves moderation is unfair

he behaved like this on nintendoage from what i saw too
if someone says dont bump a thread, dont

TL:DR: multiple bumps to update time remaining on an ebay auction within minutes of each other is frowned upon pretty much everywhere

itll be nice to be in milwaukee again, been a few years

i wouldnt say that trying to make this small corner of the internet free of homophobic slurs is a crutch... you should always keep in mind that forum posts are read without the person knowing you and shouldnt be something that requires the person reading it personally know you
