i prfer printing cds, even with high inkjet costs... these are the discs i use now

http://www.meritline.com/taiyo-yuden-52 … 18255.aspx , they look great when printed on with an old epson R260 (epson is probably still the best bet for cheap good printers, try their website, you may luck into a refurb for super cheap)

just a shot in the dark, as i don't have the nlmidi adapter, but the previous non-midi-tranfer adapter thingy. Basically the same thing in green.
Seems you are using this kind of cables

what i need for the old adapter is one of these cables because the adapter's link cable side is for GBpocket-sized gameports. Dunno if this is the case on the newer NLmidi adapter.

not sure if it helps...

i always use one of those 4-ended cables with my usb adapter, not sure if i ever tried a normal cable tbh

you're supposed to use nlmidi04 in a command prompt window, not just double-click it...

wouldn't mind adding a dual 31-band eq in the rack setup, but i only have 1u of space free (and that's not even really free anymore)
edit: also same goes for a decent stereo tube pre-amp

i sold my lowgain sync for $175 a few months ago, probably the most recent sale since he didn't make a ton of them.. sold a 2.2 a year or two back for $85, if i remember correctly.. midines seems to vary a lot.. seen them go anywhere from $125-350, depending on timing (but usually closest to $150-175)

i cant believe someone bought a USED tshirt with huge pitstains for $20

it costs $50 to register with ASCAP

so its my own fault that i dont want to pay someone else to try and get paid myself?... for the record its only very recent that ascap would even let anyone get live performance royalties for anything but a top-grossing tour (top 200-300 of the whole year)... seems that changed last year... and from what i read online, those royalty payments aren't really more than a few dollars if you're playing to small crowds.. probably much worse since who knows how many of those venues even pay ascap to begin with.. its like how i can get my last.fm royalties, but thats not what id call real money
