I really hope the label can keep up this level of quality in releases.

We'll probably just shut everything down in a week or two.

Hey guys and gals,

Just wanted to give you a heads up that the record label (Telefuture) Heosphoros and I have been working has launched. We're focusing on releasing a broader range of 80s inspired electronic music, chip music included. Here's our launch roster:

FLAVORTRON (Plain Flavored + Spamtron) - Ultim8 Rave Classiqs, Vol. 1

In the midst of a stagnant and trend-based musical climate, two of the Pacific Northwest's more prolific chip musicians set out to create something entirely unique and thought-provoking that would challenge both the listener and the conventions of the modern EDM scene itself.

Thus was born Ultim8 Rave Classiqs, Vol. 1; A meticulously crafted tribute to the legends of the past and the possibilities of the future. Confining themselves to the limited sound palettes available to early electronic musicians, as well as the often raw, harsh nature of their IDM and black metal influences, both Spamtron and Plain Flavored have limited themselves for this recording to using a single Nintendo Game Boy each, utilizing Little Sound Disc Jockey to sequence the music.

Available as a 'pay what you want' download, and CD.

Rico Zerone - Rico Z (Expanded Edition)

Hailing from Vienna, Austria, Rico Zerone has been composing sample-based tracker music inspired by the sounds of the 70s and 80s since 2008. His finely tuned smooth, italo disco style of music runs parallel to the imagined gigolo character from which his name is taken.

Rico Z marks his 8th release and is now available as free digital download with three previously unreleased tracks, two of which feature long time collaborators Kiwaida and Tom Woxom, followed by a new solo effort entitled “Future Fascination”.

Available as a free download.

Mr. Nissness - Formative Epoch

Inspired by synthesized music of the 70s and 80s, (Giorgio Moroder, Jan Hammer, Harold Faltermeyer), Mr. Nissness produces an instrumental sound that is both nostalgic and euphoric. As many children of the 80s, he spent a large part of his time playing video games, from which his musical style has also been heavily influenced. Additionally, signature guitar solos throughout his works tie his unique, yet familiar sound together.

Available as a digital download and cassette.

Linde - Stone Soup

Bits and pieces of Linde's music from 2011 and 2012 collected, refined and put together into an all-FM-PSG synthesized musical stone soup. Stylistically ranging from bassy electro to quirky funk and soft ballads, focus on catchy melodies and danceable rhythms is the only common denominator of all the tracks.

Available as a free download.

Makeup and Vanity Set - 88:88

MAKEUP AND VANITY SET makes fantasy arpeggio electro 8-bit music. Squelching melodies and pounding kick drums are sequenced on samplers and laptops with synthesizers and handclaps. He has spent the last eight years as part of the ever-growing music scene of Nashville, TN, touring and playing shows across the country, where he generally winds up rolling around on the floor covered in sweat, wrapped in cables, screaming into a microphone and wearing his trademark ski mask. He has amassed a large following through his 8-bit remixes for THE PROTOMEN as well as his dark-wave 80s slasher-film inspired CHARLES PARK TRILOGY.

Available as a digital download and a deluxe VHS version.

Come check the site for some free downloads, album streams, and more!
