Thank You, I do hope there will come something reasonable out of it.
Especially I'm afraid if they will allow me to take all the hardware on airports and planes. Grrrrr.
Another thing is, the Yamaha PSS-680 needs permanent battery-power, in order to keep the custom synthesized instruments.
So - if they will force me to take-off the batteries from the Yamaha, before entering the plane, then  I could also go back home instantly, haha.

I make sure to write down all of the custom instruments on paper first, I've never travelled with mine, but I can't have constant power going into it.

There is no audio in on any of the chips inside the NES console to solder input jacks into.

You can't.

I don't even.

Technically, Expansion Pin 6 (2a03 pin 54) in an audio input :3

don't, don't, please don't

*facepalm* ya, sorry if i'm not listening to your advice guys XD it's just that i want to explain in detail what i have, what i want, and what i might need. And the 'no audio in' thing is simply a misunderstanding, i KNOW that there IS NO AUDIO IN, i was wondering HOW to MAKE AN AUDIO IN, and like i kept saying, anamanaguchi did it, they made all 5 channels available to them, and the development carts were for backing tracks.
but ya, i'll probably go MIDI, i'm one of those people that like things the easy way most of the time : ) that 'soniktech' thingy that dsv101 mentioned is what i'll end up with : J. Thanks guys for all the suggestions! i started this thread out of desperation, thinking in my mind, 'there just has to be a way to play chiptunes on my guitar! there just has to!!' : )

P.S. btw, nice meme jazzmarazz XD

I'm not sure how many times I've said this, and other people in the thread have said this, but I'm going to put this in little words and little sentences so you can understand.

You CAN NOT make audio in on the NES

That is NOT what anamanaguchi do

They DO NOT use the NES as a stompbox

Anamanaguchi make music in a program and put it on a cartridge, they DO NOT plug their guitars into the NES at any point

The guitars are a separate entity

The 5 tracks are used by the PRE-PROGRAMMED SONG, NOT A GUITAR

I hope this helps smile:):):):):):)

I have a feeling kitsch knows something that the rest of us don't, but nevertheless OP, what you are trying to do isn't achievable through just soldering in a jack into the NES, there is no physical way for the NES to just straight up accept audio from a jack, and make it 8bit or whatever you think is going to happen.

You can, as mentioned several times before in the thread, get a special midi cartridge, and a midi guitar.

I can't tell if this is a flashbacks, or déjà vu, but I swear to god something exactly like this happened a while back.

OP you seem to still not get that YOU CAN'T JUST PLUG A GUITAR INTO AN NES. Anamanaguchi don't plug their guitars into the NES, they have it running code that makes a song.
You CAN however buy a midi guitar, and then get a midi interface for your NES

For fuck sake please actually read the posts here

the way anamanaguchi has theirs hooked up, is that the NES basically acts like a stompbox, or guitar effects pedal, it has power, input, and output(stereo or mono), and i guess i'm missing something, but what????

they dont do that, read the article

its really bad that im not even sure if this is satire, or someone who is actually that unaware

OP, what you want to do isn't possible. You can't just plug a guitar into an NES and make your music sound like an NES game. That's not what anamanaguchi do, and its not what anyone does (apart from that C64 bass lady)

I'm not sure if it's because you think your past will catch up to you, or if you're just a little paranoid

the more I think about this the stupider it becomes, it's kinda like going "hey guys, im a wanted murderer, that's why I don't use the subway lol" like who does that?
