I've always thought the same thing.

I may be daydreaming out loud here, but I always imagined an all in one audio/video mod board to eventually surface where it would cover CCAM and the S-Video amplifiers all on one pcb. It seriously only a couple transistors and a few passives. I have two pcbs floating around in my current sega and while installing the CCAM, I was pondering this idea as a potential for reducing the number of mod boards inside the unit.

playing a midi file (that someone else probably made) through gxscc isn't good enough.

You should not be wiring those in series like that. There is not enough voltage to drive that many leds. Also you need current limiting resistors on each led.

Fist of all what color are the LEDs? This will give me a ballpark figure for what the forward drop voltage is across each led.

For now I will assume they are blue, with a common voltage drop of 3.3v.
Each LED needs its own risistor and they should all be wired in parallel, not in series like you have it now.

The provided schematic will give you about 10mA on each led.
using no resistor will cause the LEDs to try and pull way more current then they are capable of handling. You might need to use some new LEDs if you pop these ones you have in there currently

Also if you change the number of LEDs used. The value of the resistor must change as well. For example the resistors values for the following number of LEDS include:
1 LED=180Ω
2 LEDs= 100Ω
3 LEDs= 68Ω
4 LEDs= 47Ω
And so on.

You only Yolo once.

Can't deny though, that if I had said a 'DI Package version', noone would know what the hell I was talking about. XD

If only I wasn't commissioning another instrument. I would totally jump on this. sad

Sweeet! A DIP package version!

Thats actually a plus in my view. The squeedo board ones are my favorite. They recover from stuck notes easier than the 2009 custom boards.

Any idea what revision PCB is inside?

For example is it Memblers Squeedo flash board, or is it the custom one labeled 'MIDINES 2 R1'?

My favorite is this one. 'The Game Fighter'

Awesome!!! Love the beeep!

It should also be noted that you will have to have some nsf player code to get the nsfs to play on the console. I don't use Fami so I'm unaware if it is capable of exporting a complete .NES rom.

The easiest way by far is to compile all your tracks into a multi song nsf. then get a copy of vegaplay and compile that using your multi nsf. Which brings up another point, Fami can surely export a multi nsf right guys?? I use MML for everything so I'm not to knowledgeable about Famitracker.

So 'made entirely' includes arrangement, or is it 'all sound recorded from iphone'?

Hmmm, another unit sold on ebay and as I expected another listing was immediately reinstated to take it's place.

I guess I'll just leave the following as my evidence for accusing DSC to be mmmprpl. I mean I'm aware he's the guy behind ninstrument.com, so burning some simple eproms and making a simple pcb for the midi port and teensy is well within his capabilities.
