good & affordable, i'm really not sure.
i had such a bad experience with my Aoyue, and really really have to have hot air at this point, i broke down and got one of the Zephyrtronics air pencils.
its amazing. albeit overkill if you only need hot air every once and awhile.
don't get the Aoyue hot air station, you'll be replacing the heating elements constantly. its a terrible model.
i use one of their soldering irons though, has worked great so far.
he uses Eagle CAD
maybe its listed on the patent? they have a lot of that info.
the patents for the game boy player are online, not sure why the ones from this console wouldn't be.
nintendo has a shit ton of patents available to view... just takes a bit of searching through the US Patent database. (as they're headquartered in Redmond, WA in the US, and took out US Patents, all this info should be centralized in the US Patent office).
they've recently been cited in court for 'patent trolling' too, can't remember what the legal term is.
yeah. the finger will be a meme.
its gone now anyways
i sold the last of those earlier today, although my inventory count was off by one...
i'm waiting to hear back if he wants the other as well, he's bought a few (repairing them i guess). if he doesn't i can get in touch...
it really just depends on which one it is, they're all different... ranges from replacing an IC to just fixing a lifted pin.
Yeah, EMS has a pretty well documented quality control problem, but it's not that common to get a totally bad cart, and kitsch and nonfinite are stand up dudes who will help you out if you actually do get a bad one from either of them.
based on the quantity that are out there (just my sales alone, idk about other peoples), they've actually performed better and had the least amount of problems than the other types i've sold. without question.
out of, say 100, i'll get *maybe* 2 duds nowadays. thats sooooo not a big deal with this type of thing. (they used to be worse, maybe 5-7/100 would be funky somehow.
-two cents-
sounds like a dead battery perhaps. they're very easy to swap out.
or, the battery has popped loose. it happens some times, not randomly, but when they're installed i think the people at the plant just don't pay attention and let it snap in. a few have been like that in the last couple months. but, thats not a problem, just need to push it in.
if its in, try swapping it out for a new one. the cart sounds like its working fine apart from the battery being dead/too weak.
i'm also available via email for troubleshooting more quickly than here.
Asheville.
yeah. this 100%.
Sounds like the barnstock festival in huntersville.
would love to see donna the buffalo NOT have to be on the bill at every fest in nc.... toooo much.
gnarnia up on beech mountain seems like it might be fun. seeing Ott would be pretty wild i'd think. no matter, at least its not another newgrass fest!
yeah. this release has gotten the most hype of anything i've seen in a while...
do.not.disappoint.
pressure!!!
does this include the art of circular breathing?
if not i can 'play' one... without circular breath its really not the same though. that is so weird, even trying it is uncomfortable in a way.
thretris and capcomposer are in eugene
track down/ask greightbit or mechlo. they're both in portland and may know some shows...
also
'they're both in portland' = ' they're both lucky bastards'
