so, the flash player is back up n the shop, on all pages, and it follows you around your shopping experience still wink

its down towards the bottom, out of the way.  won't autostart so if you don't care, ignore it!

you'll need to add the prices they are selling for.  people have no clue based on the listing...

hi everyone,

enjoy, and keep chipping!

thanks!

ok, thanks!

a lot of people don't like it like the other one.  several people miss the vomiting monster, haha...

but, anyways, yeah.  i see your points.  bigcartel is a little limiting with how it generates the lists, but writing some exclusions as to what shows up on the home page (to avoid double-items) would be doable methinks...

or, i might just turn the homepage into a slideshow...  was considering that.  and turn off new/most sold catagories altogether...  some nice high quality pics, or whatever

thanks for the CC!

first, the flash player!  ahha

ps - i like your avatar

why quotes: "america"

?

Perhaps this is one of the few occurrences on teh internetz where an united states citizen recognizes the whole continent of America and does not refer to his country as that. tongue Or something else.

well, i was wondering...  its possible...

i mean, i get saying something like... american "diplomacy", or american "justice"...  you know...   the quotes are facetious and serve a mocking function...

just struck me as sort of funny the way its quoted.  this thing, "america"...  the so-called ""

edit -- haha, if quotes are a mocking function, whatever that means, then "america" may just make total sense...

yeah, back to the point of this thread.  sorry for the derail.

you can 'normalize' in audacity, right?  i've got a super old version on my computer...  you can in it at least.   i'd assume the newer versions as well, probably with more parameters.

hey!  nice to see you're back wink

i really like the one with the milk carton.  huge milk fan.

i just wanted to re-emphasize...

dr. octagon!

if its the typical hum you are hearing, a lot of this comes from the amp inside the dmg.  the 'prosound' mod bypasses this circuitry, eliminating the hum caused by it.

so, if it is, yes.

but, since you are messing around in the wav channel and getting results you aren't too crazy about, its also worth checking to see which CPU # you've got.  2 & 3 are reported to have wav channel quality issues.  i'm not sure if anyone did any recordings or studies to verify this or not...

you can find the CPU # really easy by just taking the battery cover off, and peeking through the hole onto the circuit board.  its printed right there wink

heeeeeyyy, so, the shop got a makeover of sorts today.  a new theme at least.

to do: update all the pics (reallllllly don't want to do that), and add the mp3 player back (i'm not sure where i want to put it).

i just mention this to ask everybody if they find a bug, please PM or email me and let me know.  i'd really appreciate it!  i've tested most things i could think may have been affected, and it all works for me,

but, ya know.

thanks!

***question: for the pics, would my wood workbench i've used for the background of some of them look alright (do you think) for all the pics?  i need something consistent, i hate editing, so i'll need a consistent backdrop.  i like the way the wood looks, but it might be overkill repeated over and over.  i'm an earthtone/laidback/mellow type, and wood makes sense in my tastes (which may not be the best).  but, it might be too much.  the pics (and getting them totally consistant) are the part thats bugging me now...

wood, or a white cloth backdrop?

i could always just abandone reason too and take them all in situ...

bleh.  too much design today.

If = 12mA

Rl - 270ohm

Vcc is 5V.

its the limiting resistor.  from the 6n138/6n139 datasheets.

there was a handy website i came across that had a table for the different optocouplers and the limiting resistors needed (and an explanation why), but i can't find it at all now hmm

edit - with the x0xb0x i remember this resistor was suggested to be changed if MIDI wan't working right.  this was so long ago, i don't even remember the opto it uses...  but, it should be able to be done.  6n138 is super common, there are a lot of alternate wirings available online but the suggested and most common all use 270ohm for the limiting resistor (to compliment the MIDI requirements i suppose)
