re: the XO and online registration fees...

isn't this the way it already is with a lot of titles which come with the sheet of paper in the box with the online co-op code?  which without it you don't get the online features?

which, if you buy the game used and someone already used the code, or loan the disc to someone else with a different machine, you/they must purchase AGAIN to gain access to online features?

isn't that the same thing?  because thats already happening...  and you've got to have xbox live for that as well.

maybe i'm not catching the 'change' regarding that...  this is only on my mind atm because i picked up two games this week with that sheet of paper in them, both had been redeemed, which meant i got to repurchase the online access in those games.  isn't that the same thing?

or is there an additional fee being created on top of the online access ones that already exist?

uh, hmmm, i'll check stock with my eyes tomorrow...

and all dmg sets should include the power switch.  the site isn't being truthful.  i don't think there are any colors floating around without the power switch at least, pretty sure the ones without are phased out now

guess i should update the description too!

This is really nice.  What is the 5v supply?  Is it the same point used for the backlight mod?  Do the LED run in serial or parallel, and what resistor value are you using?  I would guess for standard green LED it'd be about 220R, and something a bit higher for high intensity blue or white?

yep, there is a sticker slapped on each one about how they are made/designed/assembled in italy.  the 'legit' ones at least.  maybe they've dropped the sticker, but the italian thing was very important to them for a while

there was an 'official' cartridge put out for sale on the nanoloop site in a very limited #.  i *think* it differs in that it has some limited saving ability?

there is a noticeable quality difference in the cheaper arduino board clones from china.  at least in my experience.

there are two blues, somebody could photoshop one of them green and maybe it'd be complete,

or maybe the blue one on the bottom of the stack is really a green and the color is just really off looking through some sort of color manipulation trickery

(looking at it again, its definitely not a weird looking green one.  but still...  a little photoshop its green)

they arrived to me today (up in the shop now), so i'd say other USA orders are shortly behind (east coaster here)
