thanks!
right. it won't be a problem then.
in all fairness, you should back up your cart regularly no matter which one you are using. technology does whacky stuff sometimes
and also battery-less RAM
we ship to holland ALL the time, won't be an issue
if that helps...
^ refer to rule 13 please, i'm just going to edit it out before this thread turns into a discussion on where the line is with being discriminatory... the non-insulting way to use that word is to mean 'unusual/strange', which doesn't make sense the way the sentence is constructed, so not buying that one. some discretion would be great. or, just an extended vocabulary.
let's try to stay on topic.
yeah, this is stretching it...
general discussion =/= off-topic

thanks for looking!
thats a very awesome official thing
the ones kitsch got me were kinda cheap.
(you actually get pretty good quality hookup wire from us. unnecessarily good. alpha or amphenol is all we've used in kits so far)
a break in the wiring wouldn't cause all these problem you're having. if your batteries blew up thats way beyond a broken wire in a prosound mod
are you absolutely positive you haven't created a solder bridge somewhere during your modding? its not a hard thing to do and could account for your issues.
go back and triple/quadruple check your work, and make sure your solder points are touching ONLY the one spot they are supposed to be touching. this is so often the cause of bad console behavior... that and bad capacitors
edit -- just speculating, but since the volume wheel is giving you such issues now, is it possible in the course of doing the mod that you heated the thumbwheel up too much when soldering the wires there, and possibly burned it out? just in the way they are constructed, i could imagine a bit of heat would fuze the tracks inside. just a guess, totally a shot in the dark.
i moved this to the release section
although i should have waited until the 23rd to do that
please use this thread

thanks. closing this. (redundant)
and the 'search' feature is your friend
are you supposed to hit the reset button when these are being programmed? the old arduino boards were like this, but they worked that out in the firmware so you don't need to reset them to program,
but, perhaps your firmware isn't the latest, or this model didn't get that revision?
(just a shot in the dark)
and also....
maybe if everyone posted the PCB revision of their EMS 64M carts? it might help figure out if there is a trend among them.
if you open the case, the PCB ID is printed somewhere on the top right area (usually)
PMing you...
i know, they're coming, in the next shipment from plastics place
realllly trying to keep up with the madness
just wanted to make sure and that i hadn't overlooked the obvious on the website you linked to
