I like the rap but what is that other guy doing with those gameboys? And the music sounds like something out of mario, it's really annoying.

If that happened within this thread, y'all must have some mad minimal communication skills.
Which, on review, you apparently do.

And if the guy does see this thread, I kinda feel bad for him.
He likes you enough to put his vacation to your song and you're calling it the low-point of you career?
poor guyJust to echo the above. I'm surprised at the reaction here. The guy sets his holiday video (probably the highlight of his year!) to your music and you're taking the piss? I guess he won't be a fan much longer.
It's a nice song and actually fits the video well. Shame you decided to take the piss rather than be flattered.

Dolphins... the new Unicorns in chiptune artist names?
Once the dolphin fad runs its course, be prepared for narwhals.

Ain't Youtube grand? You should embrace this. Make it your official music video.
In all seriousness, though, if the low point of your career doesn't involve you waking up in a pit of your own vomit, surrounded by drugs and dead people, then you are doing pretty well for yourself.

I meant, what type of records?
Oh well, wish I had known that before I drunkenly detailed my depressing past.
The only type I'm committed to acquiring is house music, especially French house, especially the catalogue from Roule and Crydamoure (owned by each half of Daft Punk, respectively) as well as other stuff I can find by acts featured on these labels (so Buffalo Bunch, Paul Johnson, Romanthony, DJ Sneak, Archigram, etc). Then there's the new stuff like Ed Banger, ekler'o'shock and Boys Noize. Other than that, I like to find really rare and unusual stuff... a 7" from the 50s of a college a capella group, a record "page" that has to be played on top of another record and features an ad for a synthesizer, the 8-bit Construction Set... the list goes on.

Fall of the Foot Clan was probably my favorite game on the gameboy when I was little. I played it a couple weeks ago and it's still amazing.

Oh and I completely forgot to mention my PENCIL COLLECTION. I have this large pencil case filled to the very brim with various pencils I collected throughout the years... I never even sharpened them, they are mint. I also have some pens in there. Novelty stuff, promotional stuff, souvenir stuff... it's crazy. Has to be at least 50 of them.
And if that's not bad enough, then there's my collection of HAPPY MEAL TOYS. I have hundreds. I used to get my mom to take me through the drive through and we would both get happy meals so that I would get 2 toys in one day. I would get complete sets. They are all still in their bags.
ON a completely unrelated note, when I was a kid I LOVED watches. I used to horde them. At one point some fast food chain (I think it was Burger King) had promotional watches for The Rugrats movie which you could get for $1.99 with a happy meal purchase and I got one of each. I then proceeded to wear three on each arm to school the next day. I thought I was just so cool. Now I hate to wear watches.

SKGB & Decktonic - what kind of stuff do you guys collect?
At the moment, I collect vinyl records, CDs, videogames (including old boxed NES and Gameboy games, as well as Gameboys), and Nintendo memorabilia (especially Club Nintendo rewards). When I was a kid, I collected lots of stuff... comic books, trading cards, milk caps / POGs, beanie babies, LEGOs, action figures, coins, stamps, postcards, precious stones, toy cars, those pennies you get as souvenirs where you put $0.51 in the machine and it squashes the penny and imprints a design on it... just about everything really. It was a terrible addiction, and all the stuff just takes up space now.
