Ha, that's brilliant that you spoke to them. I think they just need to have a constant clickable header that directs to the artist root page, which has the albums all laid out, then once you've clicked on an album you see the album page which has a little sub header that reads 'artist name - album/ep name

OK that's really easy to do. Go to your Bandcamp page and click on "index." Read the message in yellow at the top, and then click the link at the end. You will now have an index page that shows all of your releases, instead of just showing the latest one. You can then modify how many rows & columns are there. Problem solved.

Excellent, thanks Decktonic... I bookmarked that for when the time arises. I do like bandcamp but I still think they should make it a little more obvious which are 'artist' pages, which are 'album' pages and so on.. Just my opinion!

Yeah it's still just a catalog of releases, not much more. I spoke to them on the phone a couple weeks back and told them that I would like to see more "social" features and more customization... I'm sure they are working on that but I know they are a small team and everything takes work work work.

Here's my home setup. I use KORG DS10, KORG DS10+, and to a lesser extent, Warioware DIY. Not pictured are a bunch of gameboys and a gameboy camera, but I've hardly used those.

DJ setup... same laptop, same headphones, Ion Discover DJ, Audio 2 DJ, a USB hub, a broadband card (I take requests!), a trackball.

Haven't done any live gigs yet but it would probably amount to my DSi and a cord... I've barely begun to collect hardware smile

Hey everyone, I wrote this tutorial on my blog along with some images and a PSD file that can be used as a template, you can view the whole shebang here:

Should be useful for anyone that's on Bandcamp... and if you are not on Bandcamp, you should be! It's FREE.

Also, fuck yeah Princeton! I love the Record Exchange!

I swear that place is like my Mecca. I make a pilgrimage from north Jersey ever few months or so to stare at the budget CD wall and sell the crap i never listen to anymore.

Yeah it's amazing but I have to admit their electronic music section is laughable. Also my wife never has the patience for me to browse sad

Yeah it looks like I'm coming to 8static... I really want to blast Bassfisher on that open mic smile

Hello everyone, I'm a complete noob about these things, and have only been making music for about 6 months, but I think I have enough material now to start playing live. I happen to live in Princeton, NJ, and was wondering if there are any shows / other musicians / etc. in Jersey. If not, what should I be looking for in the NYC / PHL areas? Even some open-mic nights would be a good start (already considering Pulsewave). Most of all if there are any bookers / promoters I can talk to, that would be great. Living in the boonies means I don't have many connections to the "scene." Thanks in advance for any and all help!

This is probably the site I use the most for uploading new music... it's great for collaboration and CC too.

Hey CMDR, my first two tracks on this page are based on newer filter / electro house:

Not sure if they are exactly what you are looking for but if you like them I can send them to you in full quality.

I like this, I will try to send something.
