I've seen them play better in the Confederations Cup before, they beat Spain, led 2-0 against Brazil (but got beat 3-2 in the end). They should make it to the next round, the other teams in the group aren't as good as USA or England (well I assume so, they play each other in 30 minutes though).

Heh heh it would be pretty funny if USA lost to Slovenia smile http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/matches/ro … index.html

In other news, GO GHANA!

anyway getting back on topic, the match was a pretty poor, scrappy affair tonight. I thought England deserved to win but I wouldn't back either side to go far judging from tonight's performance. Still a lot of big teams to play but so far all the ones that have played have been disappointing.

I think the US national team played their best ever. They will definitely make it to the next round, but going beyond that is unlikely. As for England, they are just not the same without Beckham to set up the right plays. I don't like them so I'll be happy if they go home early smile

It's how they play... safe... don't let the other team get the ball, don't let anyone get injured. It's just boring to watch and it doesn't work against the good teams.

There was a time when a match where Argentina played meant you were going to watch beautiful fútbol. It hasn't happened again since 1990 or so. It's fucking sad.

Yeah that's why I don't support them one bit... nothing worth watching. S. Korea put on a much better performance.

Shit, I didn't even know the U.S. played in the World Cup until yesterday!

LOL what are you smoking? We're the number 1 team in CONCACAF, which is all of N. America, Central America and the Caribbean. That means we're currently ranked higher than Mexico smile

Argentina just won a mediocre match. I wish they would stop licking Messi's balls so hard.

I'm trying to watch as many games as I can. Being 6 hours behind S. Africa means they are on in the middle of the day and that's great. I'm about to watch USA play actually... hoping to see a miracle LULZ.

edit: almost forgot obligatory pixels.

Yeah programming the music was a very small portion of the project so there isn't much that's relevant to this forum, I just thought it would be worth sharing for people who like microcontrollers. Also, a while back MAKE Magazine contacted me because they were considering building a kit based on the project that people could buy, build and program themselves, and I sent them a bunch of info, and then they just never got back to me. I guess they ended up deciding it wasn't worthwhile sad

Hey guys I have 3 questions:

1. What time does the open mic start?

2. What is the price per person to get in?

3. Where should I park if I am driving there?

Somewhat related, I had to program the ATMega32 back in college...

That's some low-bit music right there.

You guys are idiots. It's if one person donates $1500, they get this. If you all donate separately, nobody gets anything!

I think this would ruin what they have going for them, but that's just me. They even hint toward why more socializing features might be a bad idea in their blog. Use Bandcamp to sell, Soundcloud/Myspace to socialize.

Yeah I didn't mean that they would copy existing features other websites offer (that would be a waste of time), I meant that they would make it easier to connect Bandcamp with those other websites. When I spoke to them, I was suggesting that I help them provide Facebook widgets throughout Bandcamp.

I thought they already covered the image-map-as-label-banner in a recent post?

They covered the fact that it can be done. They did *not* explain how to do it, nor did they offer a PSD template for free download with icons that reference popular social sites. If you had read my tutorial, you would have seen the difference!
