Ha ha smile

My initial experiments were not great but I haven't given up yet.

The main problem remains though - PR8 uses so much processing time that it's difficult to effectively decouple the editor from the playback engine in a way that you can consequentially decouple the audio refresh from it's 60hz/VBLANK base.

I did get it working whereby the 'clock' was determined by hitting a button on pad 2 so I know that that method would effectively work. It has limited use though, admittedly.

Good man! PowerPaks are good stuff. A little pricey, yes, but I don't think there's anything else that compete in terms of features and easy-of-use.

I'm pretty sure NTRQ is OK as someone else on here was using it on PAL.

I'm not sure about Pulsar though. I can't see why it wouldn't work but that's not a promise it will.

Fuck me Don, that's outrageous. Absolutely outrageous!

If anything, my love of retro console hacking and development is a danger to my health, since I find it all so satisfying to work on! My worry is that I'll still be interested and working on this stuff even after everyone else has left the building.

Nice to see you around dude. Hope you work out whatever is troubling you.

Peace and love to you.

A while back I had the idea of putting all of my software in one easy to find place as things had gotten a little disorganised. I did it before the release of PR8 but I'd totally forgotten to finish it off and make it public.

Anyway, here it is for your downloading pleasure and convenience:

Yeah, yeah, there's a proper place for feedback but I'm 40 years old, I don't do +1

Received my pro-sounded, (red) back-lighted, variable clock-speeded DMG from Justin last week. Tremendous!

Give this man your money, you get lovely stuff in return.

Just a quick note: someone 'has their name on' the MSSIAH but I'm holding out for a little while for a job-lot sale.

So is it just the RRNet expansion, without Retro Replay or any other sort of host, right?

It's the Retro Replay with a LAN socket.
