Hmm yeah i jumped the gun there a little bit, you can still maybe use the tut for the master system but replace normal arduino with teensy arduino and GenMDM cart has 2 EPROM chips https://www.utsource.net/itm/p/540392.h
gKPhfD_BwE and https://www.ebay.com/p/1pc-Am29f010-70p
amp;chn=ps then make the controller port dongle like the SMS one but connect it to the teensy pins and flash your teensy 2.0 with the genmdm 1.3 firmware. should get someone somewhere?
Just to clarify, DIY GenMDM can be built with your own parts. Everything you need is on http://little-scale.blogspot.com/search
0tutorials . This includes step by step instructions , Firmware http://little-scale.blogspot.com/search
20firmware for the teensy, tools for Max patches and ableton, and TFI files from just about every sega game. There is also DIY instructions for sega master system midi interface/ http://little-scale.blogspot.com/2012/1
-midi.html .I hope this clears up some user frustration.

P.S. if your not so hot with electronics and soldering you can just pick up the Elektron Digitone FM synthesizer (inspired by GenMDM) and make sega hardware music right out of the box. https://www.elektron.se/products/digitone/
but i already have miracle piano for NES lol

yeah its pretty straight forward hardware/software mod that nintendo wont be able to stop folks from modding. If they are putting dolphin emulator on it I am sure you could emulate any tracker you want with linux running...
WOWE, everyone come listen to these sega jams!
Can you send MIDI to RAD or does it just use midi instruments? I can’t find how midi is implemented in the manual?

Have you looked at this? Shows it works in 2xAA’s handy sync table! https://catskullelectronics.com/analogsync

what makes drag n derps better other than being more accessible for loading roms and saves? (i haven't done any research) i just know its drag n drop. Is the hardware of the cartridge better than other flash carts/ saving/loading projects, less bugs? whatnot etc.
herr_prof wrote:once you have tried drag and drop functionality on a flash cart youll never accept anything less again.
yeah ok you got me i was gunna buy one but they were sold out!
get an old late 2011 macbook for music my dude. you can boot into windows if you want too. macbooks are better with mid in my experience.
my macbook pro is upgradable and now has 16g ram and duel i7 core. but sinc eyou use fruity loops your gunna need to boo into windows.. or you could start using ableton
nanode wrote:catskull wrote:I don't really like directly competing with other things on the market
literally what market. there's like no good flash carts available to buy.
i just bought a ems 64mb smart cart from kitsch and its rock and only 42$, you got duel boot rom and if your on mac is super easy to flash from terminal
