Yeah, never apologise for not being perfect in a second language, feel proud that you even speak one.

Should do just fine.

You'll need to do some sanding and cutting in a white cart tho, but you can make it fit.

hmm, well it is a pirated game, that's for sure tongue

it kinda looks like the contactpoints are just fade.. maybe that's why there's no contact?

Might I ask why?
I heard those carts are a lot more unstable then others... Why not just get an EMS and put it into a white shell?

Plus, they are hard to backup if you don't have a flasher, which I guess you don't since you want it pre-flashed...

If you have 2 machines that sync without a cable, you could start them at the same time, have one running at 1 bpm faster, and at the same speed again when a phase forms for a while.

Two gameboys stay in sync quite well at the same bpm without a cable, but those Roland machines are out of sync in less then 6 bars...

It is quite a monotone feat indeed, I grant you that.
I really enjoy Reich's phasing pieces. Drumming being one of the best, but hard to do on a drum machine...

So I thought I'd start with an easy one smile

The piece does sound better with real clapping, the tiny variations in the sound and the hall reverb does add a lot to the sound.

A version like this really shows that music isn't just the sound of the music itself.

It was still fun to do tho big_smile

Hello!
I did a little video tribute to Steve Reich and his phasing... Phase.
It's his classical piece 'Clapping Music' done on a Roland TR-626 and TR-505

Just wanted to share it here.
Is it chip music? I dunno. It has chips and low resolution samples..
And I'm going to circuit bend them after this, so there you go.

Enjoy smile

Could be a lot of things smile
Do you have a multimeter? So you can check if there's power at al..
Does the rest of the commodore work? (Image, input)

So, it comes to about $75 per unit, which is quite high.
He will only sell the whole batch at once.
And he can only ship 30 units per day... Which would take over a month tongue

Good luck to him then.

This guy has a few spares..

Make sure you get the latest version of lsdj, it has way better sample playback.
I did some long samples with speech, and they turned out pretty great.

i have a feeling that this is going to be something that gets saved as a template and passed around on .lsdng files because everybody is way too lazy to do this all for themselves XD

¿Please?

Im already tempted to do that with my own lame instruments...

It's already in the opening post...

I went experimenting some with this tutorial, drew some frames that had 2 cycles of sine, and 1,2,3,4 and 5 cycles of square (more or less)
That way you  can play different notes over the base sine, without being restricted to just octaves.
it kinda works, it sounds nice when it's just the wave, but trying to add harmony with the other channels is hard because it's kinda out of tune wink

made a small vid to show the principle, sorry for the crappy sound and vertical video syndrome

Anyway, lots to explore!
Now i'm gonna draw a frame with 2 sines, a square and 3 sawtooth

maybe even a triangle.

(edit: just saw Nitro's reply... what he said wink )
