Remember that box I never sent you? I'll throw my arduinoboy in there too (although you should be able to find the bytes in the source code)

Re: LSDJ + Piano + Strings. I had a lot of fun making this! (9 replies, posted in General Discussion)
Hey guys,
I've been playing around with the idea of combining instruments with gameboy for a while now. I had a jam today and recorded it. Feedback welcome
Very nice demo, but I think the piano was a bit too quiet. I would have liked it boosted over the gameboy.
GB sounds are generally pretty shallow, so if the piano took the lead, it would have made a difference IMO.
Great work. I bet this would be a wicked success if you took this kind of stuff live.
Listen to this guy. He and the glowing stars know their shit.

That could only be an option if the general consensus was to allow reproductions of original hardware...
The analog pins on the arduino. Not the cart.

Dont forget to utilize the spare analog pins on the atmega328.

It is listed in the Channel.h file from http://www.soniktech.com/chipmaestro/as troAVR.zip
Oh thanks. In that case, anyone should be able to flash a new value for c5.

Accidentally killed a row of pixels but since it's my writing machine and not for sale, I won't try to fix it. Not the best picture. The yellow is actually pretty bright. I all it the banana boy.
How much voltage is the EL panel supplied with? Since this is a MGB, I'm curious if the 2.4-3V is enough if your using standard batteries.
There is an internal voltage regulator board which increases the voltage output to +5v and something like -20v. Nothing runs on the battery voltage alone.

I would really like to test the altered values to see if I'm correct but I don't have a chip programmer and the chip is a SMT.
My soldering skills rule out me being able to remove, program and replace a SMT chip. I don't believe it can be reprogrammed in place.
I could do it if I had a cart. PLCC's are fairly easy.
If someone wants to send me their cart with the corrected rom, I would do it for free.

My switch is NO. I mean that buton not soldered, I pull out it, and there are no contact between PB1 and PB2.
10k to the 4.7k place? strange but I'll try.
No, use a resistor between 4.7k and 10k instead of the 2k ohm resistor.

Try a 4.7k to 10k resistor.

Why do you wanna clone an unfinished project?
Wouldn't it be better to finish developing/assembly first? So that saving would work and also syncing. Plus some other little bugs...?!
Does somebody know if furrtek will continue developing himself? Maybe I should ask him.
Can you get through to him? No one else seems to get a response.
All I want is a yes or no from the furrball.

Can't seem to find that PM now. Maybe I was wrong about him speaking with kitsch, but I have also had to delete hundreds of PMs to have room for more.
I think he has his own web store IIRC.

I am on vacation at the moment.
In any case, I would like to hear from furrtek directly that he has moved on before I get my hands dirty. I offered assistance last April when he first appeared to the community but he claimed to have it all under control. In fact, he mentioned a possible deal with kitsch but I supposed that fell through too.
