Hm. Not many gpio pins, but it is well equipped with serial comm. I will just have to get creative with the parallel LCD connector. wink

I just bought one too.

Idk if it will replace the pi altogether, just because the pi has a following, shields, support, etc. But I can see it taking a heavy portion of the pi's users. I can see it taking more from the arduino following through. With that many GPIO and a 1GHz CPU for only$9, this thing beats the crap out of arduino. Lets just hope it is as easy to program for; especially on a low level.

Pin 6 is an output, leave it hanging and choose another gate:

Needs pics of chip, location and nearby components.
IIRC, the common place for a bivert chip is near that 2x3 block of through holes, right? Grounding one of these will effectively remove two shades from the disply. I believe they are the screen data pins. Careful near that location.

Interresting, the game fighter. It's a pirate console ?

Yes, but it almost entirely compatible with all gameboy carts. Nitro has a tear down on his blog.

I want one so freaking bad.

Three choices that fulfill "one-stop-shop."
Emulation
Clone system
Super8

Emulation will support anything, but is emulation. Return is just a consolized emulator. Super8 is expensive, but entirely authentic and upgraded to support those import titles/hardwares.

So the real question comes down to how much do you actually want to spend.

Most wire between 26 and 30 gauge will work. Closing the shell is no problem, placement of the wire is the problem. You must make sure the wire does not rest underneath any of the supporting plastic that makes contact with the other side of the shell/pcb when closed.

This is why I do not buy digital games. That article was disgusting.

Not yet. Sit tight.

I suggest filling it with 1's rather than 0's. This is because when writing to an erased ROM, the device can only transition from 1 to 0 and not from 0 to 1 without going through the erase sequence. That is to say that all 1's is technically "empty" and all 0's is technically "full."

I am just being picky of course. This is a fine idea for a guide.
