2xAA did a nice tutorial on sample kit patching. Though, he is using a mac and idk what you are using, but I imagine the process shouldn't change much, if at all. Hope it helps.

Crying is pretty rad. I was fortunate enough to get to open for them back in July when they played in Norman, OK at a skatepark. They were touring with Told Slant. Their live show was good, and off stage they were the nicest of people. They were completely out of merch but I donated to their tour fund, and Elaiza drew me a picture of... something. I can't remember what it was or what I even did with it xD. Fun times.

In any case, if they swing by your area, check them out! They're super cool smile

Probably one of the best chip releases of 2014.
Excellent stuff, FoD!

1. I get inspiration from my favorite music and artists, inspirational stuff I find online or wherever. Personal life experiences can influence me as well. Sometimes I let my imagination run wild, and sometimes it's all of these things I've listed.

2. Depends on my mood, though my mind usually has to be cleared and focused in order to write any /good/ material. So yeah, it can help, but sometimes in can hinder.

Cue the Super Smash Bros. voice, "FREE-FOR-ALL!!"

Fuck yeah, I'm game.

My only (minor) complaint is that it felt a little too repetitive, the arpeggiated parts mainly seemed a tad overdone. That, and it ended a little abruptly. But otherwise, song structure is good, the sound design is good, so yeah. Good work on this.

Bless you. I seriously couldn't believe it when I first read the news article (I think it was on KOCO), and thought "in OKC? OH FUCKING HELL NO" but to go through what you're going through.... I don't even have the words for it.

I'm so sorry. You should NEVER be shamed or blamed for this, and as DeerPresident said, anybody who does should die in a fire. As you have no doubt experienced, the chip community does not and will never tolerate assholes like him. Here's to hoping Marty does, indeed, waste away in a dark cell for the remainder of his life.

Bless you. Take care of yourself. May you find peace soon.

Hmm, so basically the ideal thing would be to get a Derp for LSDJ and an EMS for the rest...
I had LSDJ but ended up selling it (ok I know some people will scream "how could you do that?") because it was one of those non-USB carts that needed a separate programmer.

I have the newer PCB-only Nanoloop cart, which works great!

I would still put LSDJ on the cart as an extra to have when I feel like using it, but for the rest it would be more for other things, smaller ROMs, like mGB or shitwave. Some of them fit on the Nanoloop cart, but the lastest version of mGB is already too big.

I read a lot about the EMS not working on Macs, but that apparently is old news. I guess I'll got that one then instead.

For an EMS on MAC... refer to these.
