This album pays tribute to the amazing sound of the vintage 1980s synths and the even more amazing C64 SID synth chip. This is the ultimate 1980s SIDpop album, and successor of our first release SID Waves!

As 'children of the 1980s' we just love the original synthpop sound of that decade. The hits of those days - such as 'Fade To Grey', 'Don't You Want Me?' & 'The Reflex', to name but a few... are stil popular today! Their sound is legendary...

Growing up with the Commodore 64 and the music its crazy SID chip produced, was also part of the sound of those years. So, we've started to combine those vintage 80s synths with the sound of the Commodore SID chip synth. As a result our music sounds like nothing else, but has a sort of timeless 80s sound full of nostalgia: we call it SIDpop.

SID Dreams will be the ultimate 1980s record, using only vintage 1980s synthesizers and the C64 SID synthesizer chip.

In the first place sorry when my english is not so good wink
I'm thinking to try to start with making live visuals with a NES on chip shows and have some questions.
I already did some online reschearch.

So I will need a everdrive N8 or powerpak
- any diffrence between this carts or any other option?

I found some intresting programs from no-carrier like NESFlix and glitchNES
- are there any orther programs?

Is it easy to connect a NES to a modern projector with HDMI?

Is there a option to use live footage from a camera/webcam together with sofware on a NES?

Can you modifie a nes to have more options and effects?

This London based artist is well known for his 2006 album ‘Golden apples’. Afterwards he expanded his area of expertise from Gameboys to synths and other modern tech, but his love for the 8bit sound has never faded.

This is the second Swede that’ll get you moving at BITGRID. With roots in the demoscene, he’ll blast you with Crazy-happy chiptune/bitpop music. His last album got released on the infamous Japanese label ‘Cheapbeats’. Nobody can suppress a smile when dancing to Rymdkraft’s beats.

HEXADECI is a LO-FI breakcore producer and performing artist from the UK! Armed with an AMIGA A1200 plus various other midi devices, his heavy, fast, bitcrushed and distorted style will have you raving like theres no tomorrow!
