FUCK YES!!! HAPPINESS!!!

It is a fantastic compilation. I'm a little bit in love with Ampliflyer and Florian Olsson (who I've just discovered is a friend of a friend).

I've shared it with my friends. And now I'm going to put it on at work, see how long it lasts...

Excellent!

This will be fine listening for a lazy Sunday.

Can't wait to hear this Nostalgic Story guy.

Ok, fair enough.

It's not really an issue when I'm at home, but I take my dmgs travelling a lot so having volume control is nice then.

This will just have to be a studio only dmg.

Thanks for your help!

Ok that worked! I moved them to pre pot and the crackling is gone!

That's progress!

So am I out of options for getting volume control?

Post.

Here is what I have:

It doesn't look like its in the best of conditions to me. But I don't know how much of a problem that is.

I installed a prosound mod today, for the first time ever, to replace one that was crackling, particularly when adjusting the volume.

The new mod I've installed is doing the same. So I'm guessing maybe that wasn't the problem.

Does anyone know what would be a common cause for this issue?

Any help would be much appreciated. This is my first time modding anything.

That's a shame.

I find it hard to believe he'd come so recommended if this was a common occurrence. And this gameboy modding stuff is a free time kinda deal, and people do have lives, so I understand if responses or dispatches aren't particularly prompt.

But a day shy of two weeks, and if you can't get a reply, then I guess you just have to do whatever to get your money back.

I've had a similar problem where he stopped responding to me after a while.

I was talking to him about a custom commission. It was all set to go ahead, he was just waiting for a restock on some parts. Then he stopped replying to my emails.

Emailed him again a year later to try again for a different commission, no response at all.

So I've had no success with him, but he does come recommended by others, including ASM. So perhaps we've just been unlucky or he's just real busy at the moment.

Has anybody sampled any of the POs for use in sample based trackers?

I am working on my second chiptune album "Because You Left" for release sometime this year.

I have also started work on some new music in FL Studio after not using it for around 5 years.

I'm also wondering if I can do some sort of art project with all these used needles I have laying around.

Oh for fuck sake! I hate you Teenage Engineering!

*buys all three*

This is fantastic!

I'd never heard of her before.

The idea of the units is never to remove the batteries, they go into standby mode once they're not used for 5 minutes or so, so the patterns will stay saved until the batteries die at least.

I don't have mine anymore so I can't test it, but I googled around and found a few forum threads where people say the patterns stay saved after removing the batteries.

Maybe it's worth emailing Teenage Engineering and clarifying it with them?

It's been a while since I've used one but from what I remember, the patterns save automatically don't they?

You can't turn the system off, so all the patterns just stay exactly as you leave them. And I think the patterns stay saved even when you remove the batteries.
